since it's a soundtrack, half are fire while the other half are misses. would fit amazingly in a movie but can't see any replay ability for some of these songs.
the release of swimming marked a point of mac miller's career where he strayed completely away from the upbeat early 2010's music he was making. so unfortunate that this album was an early sign for what was about to come in the later weeks of swimming's release. his most personal album, probably even more than circles.
i liked how experimental and varied the production is on this album, but i feel like quadeca's voice kinda doesn't resound well with me on these types of projects, and i often feel like his voice grates a little on my ears. i see the appeal to it but personally, this album's not for me
filler songs here and there but hard to complain when the production is amazing throughout
i loved the vibes throughout this mixtape, but yeah is on such another level, def top 3 mac songs. somehow the ninety minute runtime felt shorter than it actually was.
amazing album. some of the tracks are too long tho. end of stay gave me a jumpscare. absolutely adored dang! and my favorite part. last song's a little overrated. overall though enjoyed this listen a lot.
simply a stunning display of minimalistic yet powerful instrumentation with some raw and charming vocals too
if inconsistancy was an album. has some of the most iconic early 2010's bops though not gonna lie
this is so generic but i love it oiwggoiohw iohw ehwioe hw feih fwe hi4t42c42t3h842hy88h99rh8324trfh89t3r2f49h824t3rfh9782f4rct9h872f4rct92fr4c8r
eh, it's the only song from her that i find myself enjoying more than i should...
revisiting this single...
was this ai? now after hearing it again... i can hear it. and i honestly never really liked carti's voice and stuff... but knowing that it uses ai... i can't really give it higher than a 0.
If it’s not AI… then i would give it like a 65. it’s not aging well for me.
when did this get here wtf 😭 def deserving of one of the best songs though ngl
funny how standards is tagged as a genre seeing that tom macdonald has no standards when it comes to releasing some music that isn’t politically driven in some way shape or form
