If you don't pay attention to the lyrics I'm sure you can enjoy this a little bit, but for me everything I would start doing that a new horrible line would pop up and make me lower my head. The main problem isn't the subject matter, there are some clever emo albums, but this is just so fake deep. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so full of itself. Plus the musical aspect is just really boring most of the time. The beats are pretty basic, they just sound like generic ... read more
I'm a huge fan of the low end theory and their later stuff but I feel like this album gets overlooked quite a bit besides the big songs. The big songs are still the best, but there are a lot of smaller tracks here that are very good
Idk what to say about a lot of older jazz albums. It always feels like I'm repeating myself. I do like this though
I've been a fan of Freddie for a while now, and I really enjoyed the first album in this series, and I think this is either on the same level or better than it. I was a little afraid that the alchemist would incorporate some a.i into this after the erykah badu song/album cover, but unless I'm wrong, there's none to be heard on this album. Quad did
I heard about quadeca from hivemind, like most people on this site most likely did. The first time I listened to it I just listened on Spotify, but I think the visual album helps the experience a lot, as it helps to take you further into the world of the project.
Much of the enjoyability of this album comes from ... read more
Tyler had kind of a surprise drop, except he told us 2 days before it would drop instead of not at all. In the 48 hours we had before the album would drop, people were already speculating about what the concept of this album would be. I was personally hoping for more of what he did on the clipse album, and Tyler tweeted that it wouldn't be anything conceptual so I figured that there was a good chance of that. I was up until midnight as usual waiting for the album, not knowing it would ... read more

Run dmc have some good chemistry here, and the rock inspired production is pretty fun. Roots rap and reggae was a horrible experiment though
Top to bottom just one of the most fun mixtapes of all time
