I like the first and last song a lot, I don't hate the eminem feature and I don't mind the fast crap. Overall jid is rapping really well here, it's just the beats on the middle two songs are really mid
Jmtote July challenge day 4
Happy 4th of July ๐ฅณ, today I listened to a Colombian hip hop album, and it was really good. I might need to listen to some more of this duo, because I really liked this album. It's just some really nice jazz rap and the rapping is really good. It's just insanely smooth and i love all of the production here.
Thank you randythefifth for the recommendation!
I'd like to say that I like all the production here, especially on the last track and kashgetters. I think the main thing I don't like too much here is the actual rapping which can feel kind of awkward at times and that especially happens with the features. Overall though it is a really enjoyable album, as that doesn't appear too much, and I realize the amount of variety here
Jmtote July challenge day 3
I don't think I've ever listened to and album from Chile, but this one's pretty decent. Idk why prog rock was chosen as the genre but I used to be super into this kind of stuff a couple years ago. This is pretty good overall. I'm not crazy about it but the instrumentation is great and everything sounds really grand.
Pretty bloated and pretty boring, but overall nothing offensive or anything
Kevin abstract is great on here as more of a composer than an artist weaving together a lot of other artists and getting the best out of them to make this record. This album is just a really nice atmosphere with some great standouts in the tracklist.
I love take care, but it's pretty boring at parts so ig this is my favorite drake album from what I've heard so far
For what it is, it's pretty enjoyable and there's some cool production here.
When it comes to gangsta raporiginators, I always think of nwa and ice t, but this dude started it. It's not exactly great, but it is what started some great stuff.
Just insanely bland and boring for the most part. I really enjoy love me and somehow enjoy beat the shit somehow lol
It's basically the same quality of tha carter 3 but if you removed 90 points.
This album is such a strange one to have come right after c3, bc how do you fall so low from so high. So basically, give lil wayne even more autotune than ever so he can put that on his voice that doesn't quite work for anything except rap, and make it a rock driven album where he's singing over the most generic instrumentals of all time. The only nice parts of this album are that drop the world ... read more
I really really enjoy this album, I love every song here. Obviously there are the ones that everybody knows, you got Mrs officer, a milli, and let the beat build, but I even really enjoy the hated ones like lollipop and lala.
There is something more important that happened in my life tho. My cat died. And I had it for a really long time and it was really sudden and I've been going between distracting myself from it and sobbing all day so idk when it's not gonna hurt anymore, and idk ... read more
I forgot to review this but it's pretty fun actually. There's a rock remix of stunting like my daddy which is like if rebirth was good.
"Mr. Toilet, Im the shit"
If tha carter 1 was wheezys first good album, this is definitely his first amazing one. Honestly just track after track after track is fantastic. Pretty much as consistent as the first, just the songs are better. Wayne's flow is immaculate and there some really funny and memorable lines in here. Overall just a really fun album.
