Remember guys, if a cover is ugly, chances are the album will be too (or even worse).
If you want to torture your enemy, lock them in a basement, put headphones on them, and play this entire album from beginning to end. Reminder: Don't listen to this.
Before listening to this album, I thought boom bap was dead, until Joey came along and slapped me in the face, proving me wrong. One of the best mixtapes I've ever heard, and very good
Black Thought, whether with or without The Roots, never disappoints, and this is proof of that. I think this album could have been a little better, but I have absolutely no complaints about the final result.
Because of this album, I have to say something positive about the French, and that is giving us Daft Punk and this album that is beautiful in every way.
It's a shame that Consequence hasn't released another major project since then, because this album is very interesting and enjoyable to listen to, with production by GOAT West.
Haha, hearing Ice Cube on Children of Korn was a real shock the first time I heard it. What kind of collaboration is that, wtf? But anyway, great album from Korn.
A very, very good project from the great Tyler, even though there are some annoying songs to listen to like SWEET/ITYWTD or Wilshire, I still think everything else is exquisite.
Without a doubt, of everything 2025 delivered, this was (almost) the best album of the year. It's incredible how Clipse revived to give us what many consider the best album of the year, and I don't disagree.
Well, I really liked Goblin, but I don't feel the same way about Bastard. This album is terrible, but it's saved by a few very enjoyable songs.
And here we have Tyler's most personal album, which doesn't disappoint at all. Sure, maybe it has some filler songs, but there are plenty of good things going on, like the production, Tyler's vocals, and basically all the elements of R&B and hip hop combined
Lord Quas at his most experimental and interesting; listening to this album is quite an experience, and Bartender Say probably contains the best sample I've ever heard in hip hop 👀🔥
Good heavens, how come Madlib never released another Quasimoto album? This gem is 26 years old and still sounds just as good.
What can I say? Pharrell never disappoints when it comes to doing something well. I don't have much else to add, except that I love N.E.R.D. overall.
I think it's a bit short, but that's not a bad thing; in fact, it makes it more enjoyable. Although I do think some of the songs could have been better.
I think this is more than a good enough taste to see why Jimi was one of the best guitarists.
I'll see if I can get even better with the albums I haven't listened to yet.
Well, to be honest, this album isn't perfect like everyone says, but it wasn't a bad experience either. If you like singer-songwriter albums, then you'll probably like this one too.
"The best album of the 2001" is a bit of a stretch for this album. Yes, it's good, but it's neither amazing nor the best in its category. I don't know if my opinion will change in the future, but for now I only feel a 7 out of 10 on this album
Well, to be honest, it's not as bad as everyone says. Sure, it might be a little disappointing being the follow-up to the Blue Album and Pinkerton, but Weezer hasn't lost that much of their essence; it's just good and that's it
Aesop Rock is really becoming one of my favorite rappers. This album is a total knockout, and it's definitely in the top 3 best albums of 2001. Highly recommended.
