of all the freak folk i've heard this is by far my favourite. songwriting is gorgeous, manages to be earwormy without sacrificing complex song structure, the guitar chords are simple but the unique strumming makes it sound otherworldly. layering of the vocals gives me chills. this album has been very dear to me for a year now, and i thought eventually the novelty would wear off but i still find myself coming back to it every day. i so badly want more people to listen to this!!!

the reason i take so long to review new music is because i don't have a smartphone so everytime i want to listen to a new album i have to illegally download the FLAC files, convert them to mp3, add all the song data manually in the properties tab and then take 3 hours downloading it all onto my mp3 player. i am stuck in 2008. please help me god
