After reading a lot of positive reactions to this album, to be honest, I was left very underwhelmed with what I heard.

Maybe it's because I'm not heads over heels for GY!BE's post-hiatus material, because it only feels like I'm hearing different versions of Asunder, Allelujah!, etc. I don't necessarily hate it, as "G_d's Pee AT STATE'S END!" has proven to be very pleasant to the ears for me, but I'm starting to feel that GY!BE is starting to follow the same formula by starting to ... read more

Music for vacuum cleaners, and I meant it on a good way. "Loveless" operates on so many layers and levels of sound, which is very apparent on the multi-textural timbre and the overall effect that was given on each individual songs on the album. The sound envelops you and takes you to where ever you want to go. The endless layers of beautiful vocal melody and thick, floating guitars brings me peace like no noise album ever has.
