The songs that are good are great (Annihilate, Danger (Spider), Givin’ Up, Nas Morales), but outside of the standouts, it all tends to blend together into meh. I think the first soundtrack stood out a bit more to me

After listening to this album a while over the past week, I have to say it's grown so much.
First of all, the BEATS. I think I was initially disappointed because they weren't typical Kaytranada beats, but after hearing them several times and on nice headphones, there is still something so unique about (most of) the beats.
As I've sat with this album, I also have gained more appreciation for Amine's simple, hooky, and sharp lyrics. They aren't conscious or elegant like on his 2020 Album ... read more
