Tyler, The Creator - IGOR

If I had to point to a single album that got me (everyone likes music but significantly more) into music, it would be IGOR. Definitely the first concept album I was even consciously aware of.
And even now so many years later I can still come back to this album with much love. It's sooo good.

Kanye West - Late Registration
NR

While probably far from his greatest achievement, this is by far my favourite of Kanye's discography.
Amazing production, unforgettable rhymes and skits just as funny as those from the college dropout if not better. Some of my favourite samples ever, most notably for me Gone sampling Otis Redding, Roses sampling Bill Withers and My Way Home sampling the great Gil-Scott Heron. Just really great stuff across the board.

Before the college dropout I thought rap music was just for gangsters (which I did like to be fair), but this album taught me about samples lyrics SKITS OH THE SKITS, to this day they still never fail in making me laugh and I can't forget to mention the influence ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
NR

Such pure art, Kendrick used his TPAB discards to release his rawest experience yet. In ways it’s better than an ‘actual album’, focusing purely on the music and nothing else, not even track titles. It’s undistilled art.
