honestly these songs are way longer than they need to be, also fuck him for adding a 2 minute 30 second "outro" to the last song

i've been listening to mac demarco for a while, but never rated his music. i think he's a very one-note artist, but his music is really relaxing, and my favorite songs give off a melancholy feeling that's really amazing. he doesn't have deep messages or anything, but he doesn't need to because he portrays everything with his sound, and i really love it.

some of the best production i've ever heard, travis captures a feeling for this album very well

this is pretty mid imo. redrum and nee-nah are pretty good. i like prove it. all of me is alright. other songs don't hit for me.

kanye verses are mostly mid tbh, $ sign carries a lot of these songs surprisingly. features are all pretty good. kanye has some good parts throughout and the production is consistently good. overall the main thing bringing it down are songs like hoodrat, paperwork, and some of the songs being good, but not really amazing. if it grows on me the highest i see it being is a 7.

to be fair i don't really like travis scott that much, but imo this album has no standouts while simultaneously being all over the place. every song just feels unfinished and not very thought out, but with good moments. idk maybe it's cause i watched the movie, but i don't really think this album is as incredible as everyone's saying it is.

edit: nah the albums pretty good after listening to it again. the movie was just fucking ass. still think it's inconsistent, but idc that much tbh
