good ole Boldy, it never fails to deliver great hip hop at the most random times. never change Boldy
usually not a shoegaze lover but this might change it. Great singing and engaging songwriting lyrically and instrumentally. Also from an AOTY user so shoutout to them!
when it first came out as a hungry em fan it was great. It just made my whole year hearing this from em but now in retrospect with more albums and perspective this album is just okay at best. Its clear he was hungry on some of the songs. But the biggest problem for me is inconstancy. One song you got Lucky You a very solid track and next you get normal. Just a horrid track. If em made some better songs at the end too it def would have raised this but em now again disappoints me.
Denzels best work and my fav hip-hop album of all time but I can acknowledge now that it has flaws and not perfect. I had as a 10 for the long time but the couple of tracks that are lacking compared to others it just hurts the rating a bit. But when it hits, IT HITS. I think the trap metal tracks at the end were incredible. When he collabs with peggy and kami it just makes it better. I wish Denzel would do more of that sound. Also, lyrically Denzel on songs like TABOO, Percs, and mad I got are ... read more
A very sharp (pun intended) experimental hip hop release and it is right up my alley as a diehard billy woods fan. What I love most about this is the glitchy/wavy production these two get. It fits perfectly with their voices.
Music to think about death to ::::(((( best post-rock album ever?
One of the best atmo black metal records of the last five years
When I first listened to this album I was new to the atmo black scene and to more obscure metal in general. This album for me set as a gateway into more metal and I never looked back. This album is fantastic. Not only does this album contain some of the best production in all of metal but it also contains very emotional and impactful vocals.

Most underrated em album
Eminem is a polarizing figure. Had some bad lines, good lines, and everything in between. If there is one thing about Em that is true it is that everyone has an opinion on the dude. A lot of good opinions within the mainstream, some bad opinions within the hip hop community (especially on IG and reddit). But netherless I lie within the middle most likely. I think em gets overhated and gets overrated at the same time. He has some amazing projects in the early 2000s and ... read more
Slow but beautiful showing of loss and pain
This is one of the most painful albums to listen to once you know the story behind it. Knowing this album came out after one of their band members came out is just heartbreaking. It explains a lot as well. The guttural screams around 25-35 minutes feels so painful. Feels like a cry to me. One thing that impresses me the most about this album is the instrumentation of this album. Yes it is slow but for what this album is saying and represents, it ... read more
the singles weren't horrible but this is..... wage war going into a more industrial direction which isn't new per say but this feels like a more deliberate attempt. I was a huge fan of Manic. I felt it was one of the best and most hard hitting metalcore albums I have heard ever. This one though was.... not good. I cant help and wonder what Wage War was thinking production wise. They took a huge step down production wise from their last few LPs. When hearing the initial singles I was ... read more
the tracks just blend together too much for me. Maybe this style is just not my thing but I find the songs have no identity and it leads me to space out for most of this album after trying actively multiple times to listen. The vocals were well done for this sound and the instrumentation isnt bad per say but the final result isnt something special IMO.
As a fan of atmospheric black/symphonic black metal. I was going into this expecting something solid. I came out of it a bit confused and disappointed. This is not horrible by any means, it has some great songs. But I came to wonder what others see in it. The production is thin and the integration of classical was spotty at best. Maybe I just don't like this style this band has but I just don't understand.
