I’m going to admit ive never fully understood death grips. Well i do enjoy parts of the money store and botemless pit as well as some of their other works, full projects never clicked. Sure I could enjoy song here and there and some of their songs were really fucking good like “Up My Sleeves” or “Hacker” but I always thought of them as one of those rare artists I could never fully understand or enjoy. I came to the realization the other day that this is my favorite album of all time. There’s truly nothing like this album at all. The Dead Flag Blues is one of the most beautiful songs ever, East Hastings is my favourite Godspeed song and one of my favourite songs ever, and Providence is one of the best album closers ever.
I come on here just to give random albums I love and am obsessed with a 10/10
One of the best metal albums ever made, or shoegaze if you call it that.
Digital Bath is one of the best singles ever and the vocals are insane.
Knife Party has probably the best Deftones chorus ever.
Passenger has Maynard from Tool on it so can you really not give it a 10?
Change is fucking Change,
Pink Maggit is the best Deftones song and one of my favorite album closers ever.
10/10

Sure I'd walked across the beach and dipped my toes in, but I'd never felt ... read more
In 1991 Talk Talk helped start what would be the best sub-genre of music which is post-rock. Laughing Stock is a perfect 6 song jazzy, ambient and experimental journey.
