finally gave this album a relisten and im glad to say that it did click with me after so long! first time i listened to the glow pt 2, the only highlights were the first two songs and then everything else went from one ear and out the other and the final track for the album really planted the nail in the coffin that i did not understand this album whatsoever. but now, i decided to give this album another try to see if me growing up would change my perspective in this album. mind you, i listened ... read more
an indie rock classic that deserves its classic status. the highs for this album are when the songs are pure nonstop energy and fun and this album has tons of it. imo the only thing that holds this album back are the slower paced songs such as "Spider in the Snow" and "The Jitters", i appreciate for what its going for, they are nice but kind of like pacebreakers compared to the rest of the album which their pace is really fun and energetic. except for the city, despite it ... read more
joji leaves 88rising and we are seeing him being more experimental you really love to see it. although hearing him on an aggressive sort of rage type beat is something i did not expect, it is honestly very welcomed and i am glad that he is back after such a long silence.
FINALLY OLIVER TREE GOES BACK TO THE SOUND HES SO GOOD AT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR TIMES LIKE THISSSSSSSSSSSSSS
a better version of the money store, where they sound more and more aggressive than before.

i feel like coadm is more of a guilty pleasure project for me than a bad album. the worst thing this album has to offer is when the songs get bland or get too cheesy and on the nose. i like logic's message for positivity and loving yourself in some of the songs such as on clickbait, but the chorus repeatedly saying "you are amazing" is just a little too preachy to be positive and to the point where it loses its authenticity. but on some other songs i can get pass the preachiness ... read more
a nice and chill mac demarco vibes. you can tell that he is in his element right now during this album, although it does get dull as the album progresses. its nice to hear mac use his high vocal range more often during this album but sometimes i do wish he also adds some low vocal moments in this album as well such as holy. overall, not a bad mac demarco album, just a chill and lowkey time that honestly deserves a bike ride down the neighborhood
tylers shortest project to date and the most energetic ive heard from tyler in a good while. each song just makes you want to move in some sort of way like i kept bopping my head in a good handful of these songs its just filled with so much ENERGY! it does lose steam a bit at the final half of the album i think because it was such a sudden change of pace from energy filled songs to slow paced but that is probably my only flaw for this album. its short and to the point and it was very fun
its alright i guess. i see why so many people look up to x, he has the depressed gimmick and a lot of people relate to that, sometimes too much where it feels very forced. im just here sitting through this album with a stoned face so i guess i dont really relate to him all that much but its fine, im not really his target audience anyways lol

the wassup chorus is so cheesy but its goes way too hard that it makes it less cheesier
a significant downgrade from oliver trees debut but because of how i loved oliver trees debut i was able to get through the flaws and enjoy what cowboy tears is. this album is a slow grower, when i first listened to it, i did like it but i noticed that it didnt have the charm than what ugly is beautiful has. but as time went on, im glad to say that this album did grow on me a little bit. will i be listening to it everyday? no. but will i listen to it if i get bored or its in my rotation? yeahhg
if not for the many childhood memories i had with this album such as stressed out or doubt, i would've rated this album lower. blurryface is honestly not one of my favorite albums of all time, but it is an album i hold onto personally. i remember vividly watching those roblox music videos when i was young and they would mostly play songs off of this album and i think thats why i like this album so much, even if its a little embarassing. ignoring the bias, this isnt a bad album at all. i ... read more
color me surprise when i listened to the first song and it wasnt actually bad but instead really good, then the later songs just nosedived (althought it did pick up a bit at the end). i really thought that i was going to hate this since, just look at the coverart its yiff LOL but it wasnt a bad experience, it was just an experience where i did more sour faces than usual. the selling point and the thing that turns people away from this project is the lyrics, it is very very sexual. i was able to ... read more
the delievery of "i dont want to go INSANEEEEEEEEE" just made this an automatic 100
brockhamptons most angriest yet sort of emotional work to date. i was familiar with this album since ive heard it many times but listening to it again, i did not expect this much industrial sounds out of these songs. yeah, there are some melodic songs to cool things down but most of this album is just a hard hit after another. after the incidient with what ameer vann did, its not surprising that everyone in the boy band had these feelings running through them; anger and sadness but a slight ... read more
its no surprise that after the popularity of 1000 gecs, dylan and laura had to make their next album 10x shittier and now we have 10000 gecs. although i do prefer their first album more, these two just manage to diversify their sound a lot more in this, leaning to a more rock direction and i am absolutely loving it. fucking billy knows jamie sounds like a limp bizkit song and it is amazing. some songs dont really keep up with the same energy such as the most wanted person but with how weird ... read more
i knew logic had it in him. you can tell he is just having fun with it, venturing to many sounds and styles but will always stay loyal to the sound he loves the most. i am very excited with what logic has in store
probably one of the best songs of all time its astounding
