i will literally bet both of my testicles that if the music video for this wasnt horrible this would be at a 70 avg user score, its seriously not bad at all
white people when you tell them there will be the most boring corny "my talking stage ghosted me" love songs at the function
if you have cried to this album idk what happened to you to get you emotional but you deserved it go fuck yourself cracker
GOING THROUGH THE MU ESSENTIALS PART 1: IN THE AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA
best way I can summarize this album is at the end of the fucking journey that is "Oh Comely" where some guy in the back just yells HOLY SHIT like me too my dude
this is my 100th review thank you mr tyler the concrete eater
to begin with the good parts, st. chroma is such a powerful opening, rah tah tah is so fucking hard and reminds me of cherry bomb tbh, noid is for sure extremely strong, darling i is so beautiful and vibey, way better than his last attempt on this 90s love pop sort of thing (wusyaname) hey jane and judge judy are great but i cannot listen to that shit on the regular its too sad, take your mask off is genuinely awe-striking with the ... read more
a beautiful venture through our neighboring planets, strong theming, extremely great composition and production, a gorgeous easy listen
this one is a lot closer to the first saturation in my opinion, nothing gets as good as heat to me, but the album has a lot of high highs and boogie is definitely my second favorite bh song
thank you mister brock hampton
honestly these tracks (aside from gummy) don't stick out to me as much as the highs of saturation 1, but still a very solid album and a very valuable part of this crazy good trilogy
Just purely good rap, good lyrics, good beats, good delivery, good features, everything here is good. not anything particularly amazing tho
(besides that awesome hook on scottie beam and the way it changes depending on the context of the previous lyrics, that payoff of "made a sex tape with your bitch, that pussy televised" was crazy)
thank you mr cornbreadie gibbs
THIS DELIVERED ON EVERY EXPECTATION. IT IS UP THERE WITH WLFGRL AS THEIR BEST AND INTRODUCES NEW VOCAL ELEMENTS TO THE BAND'S MUSIC THAT KEEPS IT REFRESHING. UTTERLY ELECTRIC AND JAWDROPPING THE WHOLE WAY.
UNRELEATED ISH BUT FUCK YOU PARANNOUL THIS BETTER STAY ABOVE YOU FOR THIS YEAR.
EDIT: FUCK
EDIT 2: PITCHFORK KILL YOURSELF
yousef abdo sold me fentanyl laced cocaine in the back of an alleyway and now im writing this review from the afterlife go fuck yourself yousef abdo
this album is genuinely pretty great and its a very surprising and refreshing artistic direction for yeat to go to after his previous work, it genuinely feels like he really wanted to create something great with this album and he put in the effort to do so. with some more refinement, cutting down on some of the bloat, and keeping this artistic direction, he has a lot of potential
im glad yeat changed for the better by going sober, it reflects in the quality of his music and he has quite a ... read more
pretty great showing with a top 10 song of all fucking time as the opener, never heard a more raw, unfiltered and unapologetic song than heat before
i don't like giving out 100s.
i hate the way a lot of people review music on this site, trying to objectify their reviews of album based off of metric review systems or basing its score off of how many flaws it has. to me, this is completely against what makes music so beautiful. the fact there isn't any real metric or objectiveness to it all. its all just a beautiful expression of an artist's ideas and tastes into something we can listen to and hear and be consumed by. there is ... read more
probably going into my favorites (sorry yachty i still ly)
original version of this album is so fucking sick and was only really bogged down by extremely short songs making each idea on the album feel like a passing thought, but this reissue feels so much more complete
listeners of the original album will listen to the new opener "Theme Of The Sunset" and immeadiately recognize it as the melody from the original closer "Rise Of The Ocean Sun," before immeadiately being ... read more
man these instrumentals sound like anime openings in the corniest way possible
id be fine with it if the music didnt sound the same the whole fucking album
maybe somewhere was really great and fantasy was good too, production is decent despite me not liking the composition choices throughout
i dont think its terrible but theres a lot better especially in terms of shoegaze, listen to nuclear daisies
fantano cooked
it’s pretty good, very nice sonics throughout, just don’t feel like it’s the perfect auditory masterpiece people say it is
