I saw mehro open up for half alive and was really pleased with his stage presence - he is one of the most interactive and impressive performers I've seen as an opening act. He played us some new music and Lady Parts and Mannequins really hooked me - so much so that it put this album on my radar.

What a mixed bag - Breadwinner is easily among the best of Everything Everything's songs - one of my all time favorite bands by the way - and The Mariana is good enough, but the two B-sides don't do enough to allow this EP to really shine. I'm not a big fan of remixes, especially when the original is SO strong, and this weird ass cover is just that - weird and unnecessary.
I wouldn't even call myself a FAN of Hippo Campus by any means - I try to get a hold of their music when it's released but it rarely results in much of it being added to my rotation. That's NOT the case with LP3 - which I think is their strongest and most cohesive album to date, with some really interesting things going on

Similar to much of his solo stuff, it feels a bit like watered down old Growlers but that’s not necessarily a horrible thing. Just stuff I have to ruminate on more before I revisit it.
