I find myself overcome with emotion whenever I listen to this record - I understand it may be the worst of their three LPs but man is it calming and beautiful.

Guys I literally despised this album (and also Father John Misty as a whole) but I liked him pseudonym and the album cover so I forced myself to listen to this like three times and now it's an all timer hehehe

The first 6 songs are all spectacular in energy and production with buttery vocals. Then after a tiny lull for The Craving the ... read more

I love this album to death because I discovered it Christmastime 2018 during a time when at my job we had to park in an auxiliary lot, so after 9pm closes I would walk 10-15 min in the December cold to my car with this album on repeat and because of this 'Marble Skies' is my favorite Christmas album :)

Following up 'Razzmatazz' this album did not stick the landing the first time I heard it, but as it has sat with me I've grown very fond of a few of these, and very distant from others.
In all, 'GLOOM DIVISION' is a messy mixed bag - but fun nonetheless.

It’s just so incredible to me how these guys continue to release full length albums with such excellence every time.
This is going to be a top Contender for the album of the year, specifically with best tracks like Enter the Mirror, The End of the Contender, City Song, and Dagger’s Edge.
Can’t wait for another one in like 18 months :)

The most severely underrated of Lord Huron’s LPs, Vide Noir delivers a cohesive and memorable 49 minutes that make me want to play it again when it’s finished.
A true masterpiece of music 💚

how dare i want more from this album
idk they seem to be trying to replicate the retro indie pop that was so successful in their first two albums but recently only a couple tracks per ambitious showing have really stuck out to me.
pity, I guess ill go listen to Gone Now again

Far more in like with WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP in terms of sound but HIT ME HARD yet again proves Billie and FINNEAS have what it takes to continue innovating while keeping a record’s ideas and sounds concise and novel.
i’m not necessarily the target demographic but I’ll continue to listen to these albums just so I can say i was here when history was made because frankly, Billie is the freshest pop artist to do it right now and I always forget why she’s so famous and ... read more
Feels like a bunch of B-roll from other Cage the Elephant eras that they reworked into a more cohesive sounding album and the result is…. inoffensive yet also jarring at the same time?

all in all i think Rodrigo shines the most when she’s either being sassy, sarcastic, and over the top (like in “bad idea right? and “all-american bitch”) OR when she’s being genuine and honest and accurately reflecting the tone of her subject matter (like in “vampire” or “the grudge”).
she tries to blend these two ideas of over-the-top and genuine far too often in GUTS and it ultimately leads to a lot of eye rolling and sacrifices in ... read more
JUNGLE returned less than 2 years after 'Loving in Stereo' with an evolution of their preferred identity as a production duo.
'Volcano' uses JUNGLE's signature killer hooks, deep production, and mostly seamless repetition to innovate and elevate within the dance genre.
When it does stumble, this album does so in moments rather than full tracks, as each song has some kind of merit and allure to it, which is impressive considering the bold tracklist of 14 ... read more
I don't know about y'all but I was nodding off during the first half, I didn't hear enough dynamic production or vocals to really cement this as one of the year's best like many are calling it.
I did however really enjoy Grandmother and How Could I Have Known - those are really the only two tracks that stood out to me (and that I could even remember how they go lmfao)
