I really like this new sound from Taylor. It did start off bad with Lavender Haze which I didn't like that much but everything else was really good.
Pretty much the level of trash that I expected of a 23 track long album by him.
I didn't expect to like this but it was suprisingly actually pretty decent.
It sounded pretty good. Some points sounded like a soundtrack. Even without the movie it stands pretty good on it's own.
After listening to his 3 recent albums which I didn't really like, I was really excited to listen to this because I pretty much knew I was going to enjoy it based on the genres listed and I was not wrong at all. Every song except "Sept. 16" is really good and basically everything I wanted from Kid Cudi.
One thing I hate is when artists make albums unreasonably long and in this instance it's not only that. He has a really uninteresting sound on this album which makes the listen so much worse.
I feel like the songs on this are always on the verge of being good but almost always doesn't reach it's potential. I feel like the only songs that are somewhat saving this project in someway are the purely instrumental songs.
The first half of this is really boring and uninteresting but it gets so much better on the second half with amazing songs like "These Worries" and "All Along" and I can't forget "Erase Me" as that song might be one of the best songs I've heard as of recent.
Finally got around to Kid Cudi. This was a great album but I did have some doubts about it on 2 or 3 tracks at the beginning where I didn't really liked his vocals but as I continued it didn't seem to be an issue later on where there are absolute bangers.
Great album. Not to the level of his 2 earlier albums. His 3rd worst album imo being an 81/100 out of 7 albums really just shows how good Tyler is tho.
