A very good album but I feel like the features on this kinda take over and carry it. All the best 4 songs are with features and on pretty much all of them he is outperformed. Although he has some tracks that I actually quite like where he is by himself but majority are just all right and nothing special.
Well, This was amazing.
I really liked how Logic has structured and curated his last two albums that I've heard and there is just something special with this one. It feels like there is no filler in this album and that every song is needed to build up the story he is telling about his beginnings of being a rapper. Not only that, the songs are all amazing and I especially like "Highlife" and "Ayo" which are both by looking at the track ratings criminally underrated by the ... read more
Don Toliver has one of the best voices in Hip-Hop right now and I think he has the potential to drop something great sometime in his career, but what he has showed with all his 3 album releases is that he doesn't really know how to drop an album with quality songs all the way through. There always are times on all of his albums where the songs just dip in quality and it feels like the songs he sings are just for showing that he can sing and nothing else of substance. This album is not an ... read more
I might be stupid or I heard the wrong song, but when I listened to this yesterday, I honestly didn't hear Ariana Grande except for her in the background but listening to it now it's honestly mindblowing how I missed her part.
P what I'm pushing, but I ain't Gunna, I ain't telling shit 🔥🔥🔥. Babytron is starting to feel really repetetive ngl. He should've kept Certified Trapper from stepping foot on the album and why on the same song is there just a 35 second silence in the end for no reason. Ice Spice and Overthinking like all other BabyTron songs are modern masterpieces tho fr.
After seeing the ratings this had gotten I was slightly worried going in that this was going to be kinda bad but those worries quickly dissappeared. This album just had great songs all the way through and it didn't drag on for to long either which is honestly really good. They could've easily just decided to make this a bit longer which wouldn't have been to good for the album as I feel the length on this is kinda perfect with only 10 songs. I'm looking forward to listen to Plastic Beach and ... read more
A great debut album from Gorillaz. The only thing holding this down from getting a higher score is "Rock the House". It's probably the most fun song to listen to on the album, but it feels so out of place and it's actually just not that good. My favorite songs would probably have to be "Re-Hash" or "Clint Eastwood".
Usually not my type of sound or what I would decide to listen to but I really liked it and I left this album feeling pleasantly surprised.
The two opening tracks didn't really grab my attention for the album but it got better as it was going on.
Never heard Paramore before and this was amazing. I understand why people were hyping this up.
This is just plain avarage and as I saw someone in the album comments saying, this is just the perfect 5/10 album. It's just instrumentals with no substance at all. This is just an album to listen to while studying just to have something in the background, which is pretty much what I did while listening to this and I did actually do progress in school work so that's nice.
It starts of amazing but the later songs just aren't for me and they feel a bit repetetive to me. A big step up from "Friday" at least
If I said this wasn't the best thing my ears have experienced, I would be lying.
If you told me that Lil Yachty would have album of the year in 2023, I probably wouldn't believe you. He probably wouldn't even be on a list of 100 artists if you told me to predict who would get it. Every song had it's own experience and they were so heavenly and were so great that when it all ended I just looked up to the roof for 5 minutes to take in everything that just happened. This was also so good that never during the runtime of this album did I feel the need to pick up my phone and do ... read more
Most of the songs where either ruined by the feature, the mixing or just Trippie himself. The album was too long and it just doesn't need 25 songs or a feature on every song. Though I do like some songs, the most notable being "Knight Crawler".
One of if not the best experience I have ever had while listening to an album.
