I kinda went in expecting the same Fousheé that I've heard on Vince Staples and Gemini Rights but my god was it so different. I think she would have done fine without the punk rock element on this as it was one of the worse things about this album. But in general this is quite decent.
This album has some great songs like Grapevine, God Turn Me Into a Flower, Twin Flame and The Worst is Done but aside from those songs, the rest doesn't really interest me as much as those and they feel kinda tiring.
I've known about Joji for a long time now but the first time I listened to him was when Glimpse of Us came out. When I heard it, it instantly became one of my favorite songs of the year and I was very excited for his upcoming album after hearing it. Then YUKON came out and I loved it and it made me even more excited for the album. Now the album is out and I just listened to it. I had really high expectations for it going in to it and after listening to it and I can say that it really exceeded ... read more
This album is the best he has released since IYRTITL and so much better than his release earlier this year "Honestly, Nevermind" and other recent releases. I really hope we get more of this Drake in the future because I absolutely loved this. 21 Savage was also great on this as he has been with other songs I've heard of him with or without Drake. I can't really comment more on that much though as I am not really that familiar with his music other than his big hits.
Better than I expected if I'm gonna be honest. I really like this.
Some good instrumental songs that are easy to listen to. The album cover goes hard ngl.
Every song is just as uninteresting as the next one and it all sounds the same
Nothing special. There's some really good songs but also some really boring ones and the majority are quite boring.
This album is pretty much my first experience with jazz and it was a pleasant experience. I really like the element of the saxophone and how it sounds. I look forward to listening to more jazz albums.
My 100th Review!
For the beggining of this new journey and I am starting here with this Mariachi album from 1950. This wasn't bad or good. I did find some of the songs to be decent but not more than that. The recording quality of this time is something I will probably need to get used to as that was one of the reasons I didn't really like this that much but you can of course not change it.
