Really overrated in the sense that it's not one of the greatest trap album ever as I've heard many say. There are of course a lot of tracks that I like or even love on this but some songs I just don't really care for that much. "Nightcrawler" and "Piss on Your Grave" being the songs I care for the least.
This just wasn't that good. A lot of tracks were just bad because of uninteresting beats and vocals from Young Thug and on some songs the features too. "Oh U Went" and "Global Access" were both actually really good songs so everything on this wasn't bad but most of it was shit, especially the first half of the album and if it wasn't for the second half being kinda decent this would have gotten a much lower score.
Michael Jackson was really in his bag when he made this and his 2 last albums. Just like Thriller this album has multiple classics that I pretty much know by heart by how amazing they are. My favorite song on here is probably "Dirty Diana" at the moment because the instrumentals on that song goes crazy. The only complaint I would have about this would be that "Speed Demon" felt like it didn't fit into the album based on the two first songs which made the experience of that ... read more
Great album from Michael Jackson. Not as good as Thriller but it still has its own great moments. Where this fails a bit for me is "Get on the Floor" and "It's the Falling in Love" that are two songs that in my opinion are good but it's something that I can't pinpoint that these two songs doesn't have but that all the other songs do.
Despite thinking DS4 was trash and that Gunna was kinda mid except for a few good songs I was excited for this. It's his first release after getting out of jail and it feels like he wants to prove something after getting pretty much the whole rap industry to turn their backs on him for alledgedly snitching. It's actually a great album and unlike his other projects where it can feel like he keeps the same flow and just does the same stuff. Sure it can maybe feel like he does some of the same ... read more
There's classics after classics for the whole duration of the album. Barry Bonds is the only song I don't like and don't think fit here (Drunk and Hot Girls maybe doesn't fit either but I honestly think that the song is quite good). The first half on this is unmatched. Amazing album.
When I was younger I used to have Michael Jackson songs downloaded on my Nintendo DS and an MJ Just Dance games which made me very familiar with a lot of his music at a young age. This is pop perfection and I'm not sure if the Thriller, Beat It and Billie Jean 3-track run will ever be beat by someone else. Legendary Musician.
I Imagine the songs will be well put together and fit with the movie but on it's own it's nothing special.
How the fuck is the mixing worse than the stuff me and my classmates cook up for fun in 20 minutes when we are bored in school.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I expected a lot of the same type of songs that I had heard from Jeleel before which there was a lot of in the beginning but in the middle starting with "FEELS GOOD!" the album actually started getting better and I ended up actually liking it by the end.
I think this is a great project from Conway the Machine. It has a lot of interesting beats and also has some great performances from everybody included in the album. If people think this is mediocre for Conway I wanna see what he makes when people love his albums.
This is one of those albums that I really want to like because everyone else does but when actually listening to it I can't feel anything except bored. It doesn't sound bad but none of the songs feel particularly fun. All I hear is someone rapping alright while being on beats that aren't that exciting to listen to either.
Pretty much what I expected. A bloated album that is also not that interesting at all. The only compliment I can really give is that the melodies were sometimes nice and that it wasn't completley unlistenable. I would also have said that this didn't feel as long as it was but I would be lying if I said that I remember a time before I was listening to this.
As much as I love MOW3 I think this is slightly better overall. It feels more like an album and has a more managable length. The sound he goes for is something that I like more overall as well. It's awesome and I think that DC the Don deserves way more recognition than he does as every album I have heard from him has been quality and something I loved.
This sure has a moment with "Deeper Than The Ocean" which is a track I enjoyed on this but aside from that it was quite horrendous. It's way too long for it's own good, especially when it all sounds bad and like every song is the same. I couldn't wait for this album to end in the last couple of songs and this is probably something I won't ever want to return to.
It does start kinda mediocre but after the two first tracks it started to get good and the rest of the album after that was pretty good. It was a really fun listen, it didn't have anything amazing but it did have some really good and fun tracks to listen to.
