It's doesn't have bad songs but they're not necessarily captivating either, they're enjoyable but passable, the album feels like 14 YouTube copyright free songs compiled, I could imagine all of them in a vlog, DIY or even study video. The album cover is the greatest, most interesting thing about this project.

Lackluster, specially the first half before 'Faith', it gave me a rush of suicidal ideations, it's like a talented but pretentious incel that produces music locked in his dark room decided to emulate Michael Jackson and make a plethora of songs his colleagues would love because they got tired of lo-fi shit on YouTube. It's virtuously produced but equally monotonous.

They'll never top IT'z Me, while this EP is not terrible it's just subpar to a Big3 group that is leading K-Pop's 4th generation, it sounds like it belongs in a nugu group discography, except for the title track Not Shy simply has their worst b-sides, they're not as confident, inspiring, creative, fun and idiosyncratic to the group's identity as their previous releases, it's disappointing.

Chile, 2020 is definitely not SF9's year when it comes to keep on doing their jush of advancing their sound every comeback, FIRST COLLECTION is basically what the name suggests, a collection, they compiled every single formula they've used to date and most likely reused the ones they considered to be the most successful, there's absolutely nothing on this album that Fantasy (the fanbase) haven't heard in past releases, it's in no way a bad album but it is somewhat boring, nothing changed, ... read more
