Brent Faiyaz - Fuck The World
70

This album was definitely decent, it's nothing crazy Brent Faiyaz did his thing with this record and it wasn't that bad to be fair I do have to say some of the content on this album is a lil boring.

Blood Orange - Negro Swan
81

Blood Orange definitely took his time to try and perfect this record because he did really good. I came in with bad expectations to this album thinking I wouldn't be able to sit and listen to it but it's actually really good probably one of my favorite modern R&B albums.

Best Song: Charcoal Baby
Worst Song: Nappy Wonder

Black Star - Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star
82

This album is filled with nice Boom Bap bangers don't get me wrong but none of the songs really interest me except for tracks 2-4 and Thieves in the Night but I feel like the song's length could definitely be cut shorter.

Best Song: Re: Definition
Worst Song: B Boys Will B Boys.

Anderson .Paak - Ventura
80

I enjoyed Paak's album with Bruno but I never checked out his solo work and this was the first record of his I checked out and it's pretty fucking good.

I like the length of this album, the features are nice, and production is pretty soothing.

Best Song: Come Home.
Worst Song: Twilight.

Aaron May - CHASE
79

Pretty nice album, Aaron May is def underrated and the content on this album is really good.

Best song: Let Go
Worst Song: Focus (Interlude)

50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Tryin'
79

Imagine this: Your debut album is produced by Dr. Dre, Em, Mike Elizondo. Nate Dogg and Eminem are features on it. Crazy.

This album start from finish is amazing, and for a first professional label released album it's just crazy. There is probably only one miss on this album and that is Poor Lil Rich other than that every motherfuckin' song on this album just consists of crazy production, story telling, lyrics, etc.

It's safe to say 50 really killed it with this one hope to see him release ... read more

2Pac - Me Against The World
91

Releasing a record like this at the age of 23 is mind boggling. The production, lyrics, story telling, the amount of influence this man has brought to Hip-Hop is crazy, and the content on this album is beautiful. This Album is perfect.

Best Song: Dear Mama
Worst Song: Outlaw

2Pac - All Eyez on Me
90

Oh you a Muslim now? No more Dope game.

Even though this album is 2 hours long, at the end of the day it's Tupac Shakur on this Record and he fucking killed this shit. He provides you with great lyrics, catchy flow, good story telling, and very nice production by Daz Dillinger, Dr. Dre, etc.

I will say I think there's better content in Disc 1 than 2 but by all means doesn't mean that it's bad at all, this album is very consistent even if there's lowlights the highlights overshine them which ... read more

21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning
81

Lyric's, Fantastic. Production, Fantastic. Features, Fantastic.

I really like the duration of this album It's not too long yet, it's not too short either the length of it is perfect.

The first three song's are the one's that really stand out for me, the other song's are good it's just I don't care enough for them to really like them that much.

Best Song: Ghostface Killers
Worst Song: Run Up The Racks

21 Savage & Metro Boomin - SAVAGE MODE II
83

This album was FANTASTIC. Start to Finish this album was really nice and MORGAN FREEMEN NARRATED IT??

21 and Metro fucking cooked and delivered with this shit and this album was never boring for me at all they all had interesting concepts, great lyric's, production, it was all amazing.

Best Song: Many Men
Worst Song: Snitches & Rat's

21 Savage - i am > i was
75

This album was.. Good. I don't really have much to say about this album other than it's pretty good.

Some of the songs are kind of boring to listen to but the doesn't really mean there's a decline of the song's quality, the production is really good on all of these track's in my opinion but the song's are just random and all over the place, I don't know.

Best Song: 4L
Worst Song: gun smoke

Hearing this album for the first time, paying $20 just to listen to it I wasn't really impressed watching Ye dancing around with Ty Dolla $ign, hearing a bunch of messy song's I was just. confused.

But when this album released I had a chance to listen to this record with my friend's and it sounded better to me.

and not too my surprise, this album is very... Ye sounding. Unfinished, Good beats, interesting concepts in each and every one of the songs.

I think people don't like this record ... read more

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
84

When it came to listening to this album for the first time I was scared because after putting out NWTS and Take Care I thought there would be a drop in quality for Drake's next album and boy was I wrong.

This album start to finish is really good. I like how drake did really good on this record with his rapping, probably his best yet and solidified it with a touch of R&B. The only song's I don't really like on here are the ones with PARTYNEXTDOOR on them and that's partly because I just ... read more

Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss
68

I guess Mr. Dick Slinger finally saw his decline in music and decided to collab with a guy who likes to rig card games!

In all seriousness this album was definitely a big step up from whatever garbage he released 5 months ago. I still think Drake could've more time here with this album so it would be a big step up from HNVM.

This album is decent to good within the first 6 tracks then 7 through 9 it gets mid to ass, then the rest of the album just starts to get all random and the songs are ... read more

Drake - Honestly, Nevermind
30

Mr. Drizzy Drake, how do you manage to have a great 3 album run then proceed to throw it all away with this.

One of the shorter drake albums and he still manages to fuck it up by completely switching genres to house..

This entire album start to finish was fucking terrible. like really bad. Only song's that really stuck out for me was Sticky and Jimmy Cooks.

Best Song: Jimmy Cooks
Worst Song: Texts Go Green

Drake - Certified Lover Boy
40

*ring* *ring* *ring* Hello? Who is it? It's Mr. Toronto threatening to put out more music after 3 years.

When my Hispanic friend first showed me this album when I wasn't really all that into drake I really liked it and it grew on me at first but when I did a discography deep dive for different artists and drake with one of them. I couldn't bare this album again.

21 tracks and this album is more bloated than a fat dude after eating lots of food. First two songs start off half decent but these ... read more

Drake - Scorpion
45

BEYOND MID.

Tracks 1-4 MID. God's Plan, nice catchy song that anyone could easily vibe to. Other than that the rest of this album is just straight up mid and garbage and the track list being this long also does not make up for it.

Sure there's some decent songs here and there but this album is really not that good at all except for Nice For What.

Drake - Nothing Was the Same
83

Big take here, but its a HUGE STEP from take care 😬.

The first 4 tracks are so beautiful. Drake actually cooked more than Gordan Ramsay making his world famous Beef Willington.

They're just so catchy and not boring (that's if you can sit through Tuscan Leather.) Then we get to Own It and it's not a terrible song, but it's not great either so it's best to put it at mid. Then we get to track 5 and 8. From Time and Hold On, We're Going Home are great songs. Drake doesn't have the greatest ... read more

Drake - Thank Me Later
62

It's better than So Far Gone I guess. πŸ€”

This album was decent. I suppose. The duration of the songs is what pisses me off the most. To start, Fireworks was a good song but then we got to tracks 2 and 3 and it wasn't that bad it was decent but boring to listen to.

Over is a good song with a nice beat but it's nothing too exciting. Just like the beginning of the album, next two songs are bad/decent and then I got to Fancy and It wasn't bad. THEN WE HAVE 3 BAD TRACKS then a nice Weezy ... read more

Yeat - 2093
71

I sat down and listened to this album with my dear friend Mr. Luis and honestly it wasn't a bad experience. This is probably Yeat's only album I could listen to, first listen, without wanting to shut it off immediately.

One GREAT thing that Yeat does here is he actually makes it so the audience of his music can understand what he's saying! Bravo Mr. Tonka Truck. The first song for me and my friend was kind of wack and Power Trip was eh but once we moved onto Breathe we knew we were set in for ... read more
