I feel like this gets really gimmicky at points, and also isn't the most consistent, but it still ends up being pretty solid with some AMAZING tracks.

Very consistent in about everything. I love Freddie's rapping, and the beats are the perfect presentation for it.

I know this might be posed as """vulnerable""" but it just ends up being really corny and hard to get through. The production is mediocre, and his voice doesn't really do much either way.

Amazing production, and Carti's a great compliment. F1LTHY's produced songs were crazy. It's insane to see how this developed/progressed rage as a genre so much.
3.8/10
at least better than "Rock Music", but that's a low bar to clear.... also rename ts Please.
Very solid and polished album from Earl. Love the production, and his flows compliment them amazingly.

For only 35 minutes, it feels like Vince Staples somehow overstayed. While the ideas here are somewhat enjoyable, Cry Baby feels way too passive aggressive for its 'rap rock' style. I do praise the lyrical content here, as it's pretty polished.

Though this does get weaker at some sections (notably during the extreme heat of the middle right area), Death Grips doesn’t seem to genuinely waste a single second here. And to accompany that fact, the material that IS so packed into here is intense and beautifully produced.
Despite a level of personality present in this rollercoaster of songs, Tyler, The Creator falls short at the actual 'song' category sometimes.
Further proof that JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown are really HERMANOS. In this short EP, the twins explore more soul sampling sides of production, but still hold ground to their experimental roots.
There's not a very good way to put it, but it feels as if JPEGMAFIA made something so beautifully unstructured that it becomes an amazing abstract masterpiece, flaws and all.

I don't have much to say here that hasn't already been expressed on this album- One of the most charming and masterfully produced pieces of work I've ever had the pleasure to hear.
