Wallows return to a similar style as their "Remote" EP but with MUCH improvement. Such an insanely happy and energetic song that's gonna be stuck in my head for days.
Also, it was a great idea to use a harmonica, the cherry on top all of this.
Got heavy nostalgia with this one. It's a beautiful song. I just wish it was longer.
I wish this hit harder but I just don't get it. It's not bad, but it's just not very attention grabbing for me. Remind me to come back to this in a year or two, maybe my thoughts will change. It seems to have grown on a lot of other people over time.
Alongside the game this is easily a 100, but it just doesn't work quite as well on it's own. All the sound effects are just sprinkled in haphazardly and it makes it awkward to listen to. Same with all the little short songs like opening up a chest or getting a "game over". If they wanted to include them, just put them on the end of the album as bonus tracks or something.
Although the vocals from Lunar Vacation are really pleasant to listen to, I wish Finn's vocals were a bit more upfront. I almost couldn't even tell he was part of the song.
Giles Martin knocks it out of the park as usual. This is easily the best this song has ever sounded.
I had no idea this released and it looks like most people didn't. I'm getting heavy Cage The Elephant vibes.
This is what Supermarket wishes it could have been. Don't sleep on it.
Hell of a sophomore effort. I can tell Elliot poured his heart into this one. It improves on his debut LP in almost every way. I'm eager to see what is planned for M.A.G.S. next and I hope he finally gets the attention he deserves.
Stream this shit, you won't regret it.
