weird pick for a 10/10, but this album is a PERFECT example of what I want in a live album. I love moshing at live shows, and this album gives me that feeling every time at home. The energy, the band interaction, the length, the moments are all in perfect proportions. A must listen in my book if you want to jump around and push people around and be pushed back for fun.
Every second of the album is needed, for it's perfection, and for me to feel whole. The chaos, the warmth, the love and anger, it's all worth it for this record. Some of the best songwriting of recent memory.
This album is a masterpiece. That's it. If you somehow hate this album, you must have put on the wrong record.
Punk done in a way you would never see coming from the amount of speed. It hit's you like a train, and it doesn't stop. Everything goes hand in hand moving track to track, even when it decides to slow up, it only energizes you more. It's hard not to pass this up on days where you just want to go deaf.
Free range for creativity at it's finest. And done the best way possible. Not serious at all, but still comes across as nothing short of eye-catching.
Music that really can only be curated by the likes of Mr. Zappa himself. One of the best Jazz Rock fusion records. If not THE best.
I've seen some people say their self titled is better, but how? With sounds like these, and vocals like these, how is this anything short of pure gold? I think this album should be recognized more on top of it's current fame.
Tarkus used to be my favorite song of all time. It's my second favorite now, but that just goes to show how masterful it is. Don't let the first few moment scare you, it'll all make sense. The rest of the album is just as fun in it's own way. I love every song on here. Also, The Only Way (Hymn) sounds like you're going to heaven.
Even Better than her last. Now, I don't like music that sounds "grandiose", or tries to sound larger than life production wise; but damn, this is probably the most beautiful album to grace my ears. And even the songs on here that are more laid back, feels right at home with this record. Absolutely stunning.
The best vocalist in the world right now for me, making music that fits more than perfectly with it. An album that introduces her capabilities with a soft and comforting, but bright BANG!
Mr. Blue sky is my least favorite on here, but even then, there's noting negative to say about it at all. Super fun listen for an album you'd other wise might skim over despite some of the hits on here. Wild West Hero is a perfect closer.
Simple, but very effective. Some of prog's most influential and iconic sounds.
This album is way better than their debut. And whilst I like all of their work, the sounds on this are candy to my ears more so than anything else from them or relating bands.
This album holds up in every way, especially lyrically, today after nearly 50 years later. Beautiful and stunning, whilst also truthfully tragic.
Yeah, I love this, Secord favorite of Pink Floyd's but there's really not much else that can be said.
How is it possible to hate this thing. One of the most inspirational albums for psychedelic rock as a whole. Some of Hendrix's best songs.
Goodbye stranger has my favorite guitar solo of all time, the buildup alone is worth it. But every song on here is something special. I'm surprised this album isn't praised even more.
I feel like this album is only worth it on certain days, as the songs hit much harder when you have the patience for it. But you cannot deny this album's beauty whether it does hit or not. Some of the most satisfying feelings when listening to this thing and it's always worth it once you get through it.
I just wish I could learn the bloody Well Right intro.
Their best. Ahead of it's time. And musically is ear candy, you'll never be bored of these sounds or stories. The concept of entertainment is at this album's mercy! Very fun listen.
