Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
74

I didn’t realize how successful this album was. There’s a lot of big, catchy hits with a decent enough emotional core to make these songs actually meaningful. I fw it lowkey.

Daft Punk - Human After All
60

I’m only human after all

I’m only human after all

Don’t put the blame on me

Jane Remover - Census Designated
92

Honestly, a massive step up from her previous album. The best way I can describe this album is mature. Both in sound and in lyrics. I’m so glad I decided to check this out, it’s definitely worth your time.

The Smiths - Meat Is Murder
69

It just sounds like another bog standard smiths album. Not bad but nothing I’m dying to hear again and again. Especially when that last song sucks so bad.

Korn - Korn
55

Sometimes cool, other times cringeworthy.

Burial - Burial
82

A really cool and unique vibe for a dubstep project. Really took me to another place like any good instrumental album should. I just think it could’ve been fleshed out a little more.

Clairo - Sling
84

Really beautiful and a huge step up from her debut. It’s more fleshed out both in terms of songwriting and production, with great soundscapes that evolve into great crescendos with immense payoff. Good job clairo.

Mk.gee - Pronounced McGee
72

It feels like a good start but nothing mind blowing. I will say that I’m now curious as to how his sound evolves over time because the groundwork set up with this album is very impressive. Can’t wait to delve more into his stuff in the future.

Green Day - ¡Tré!
43

Honestly, it’s the best of a bad, boring bunch. This one just isn’t as bad or as boring as the others. Good job I guess.

Green Day - ¡Dos!
34

Honestly worse than uno. More forgettable and contains lower lows. Very disappointed.

Green Day - ¡Uno!

Just a generic slog that’s too safe to be memorable. Wanted this to be my first album of 2025 for the name alone. Too bad I didn’t get anything from it.

Lil Xan - TOTAL XANARCHY
28

I started really getting into music around three years ago in late 2021. Ever since I first started I’ve heard horror stories about this album. Three years and hundreds of albums later and here we are, staring the devil right in the face. And honestly, it’s not that bad. Yes, it’s horrible and incoherent and generic, but it’s not the worst hip-hop album of all time. Oddly enough, there are some redeeming qualities here. The features all do pretty good, the production can ... read more

Big Thief - Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You
93

I’m floored by this albums immense beauty and powerful lyrical content. Adrienne Lanker really is one of a kind in terms of songwriting. I need to check out more big thief.

John Coltrane - Giant Steps
74

I guess you could say this album was a giant step for jazz

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
74

A great foundation, but we all know the band can do leagues better.

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
81

Honestly, really great showing from drake. Great production, great bars, and a real sense of energy and passion that drakes other stuff has clearly lacked. He’s still weird though

billy woods - Dour Candy
77

Some crazy bars, some crazy production, but overall a pretty modest effort from our boy.

青葉市子 [Ichiko Aoba] - 0
93

Beauty incarnate. Merry Christmas everybody.

Slipknot - Slipknot
79

Intense, ferocious, and well produced. It’s just not really my thing, but I can acknowledge how good I think it is.
