I was so dreading listening to this thing but honestly, it’s not that bad. Maybe I’m just desensitized to noise but idk it intrigues me a lot more than most albums
While not bad, this album definitely sticks out like a sore thumb in their catalog with it mainly sounding like generic shoegaze instead of the have a nice life we know
Awful sounding pretenious douchebags singing about """""""""""deep"""""""""""""""""" subjects for 50 minutes and now my ears wanna hear something better and not as boring
The mid machine Will Toledo never fails to impress me with how boring this thing is holy shit
The build ups and releases during the choruses have very little diversity but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a pretty fun album with some decent lyrics at it too
Yeah this was ass. From the weak, basic beats to how bad these two are flowing over them by just screaming and cutting it off in post yeah this is awful
Half the album slaps where the other half I find to be very annoying and not very well produced
British swans with a lot of vocal effects. Just listen to white light from the mouth of infinity instead
This thing speaks to me in some weird way but I do not mind that at all
Oddly enough the second and second last songs were the best on the album and two of my favourite Swans songs ever. Too bad the rest of the album is only good and not like those two songs
Great concept utilized very well and I didn't expect to hear Joe Rogan but it very much worked
The best album of our generation. The musical genius of Kaijak shines through beautifully on this project. Rivers is an immaculate introduction to the EP, which carries on beautifully onto my personal favourite track, Missing U. Faraway and Midnight are both amazing, and Rainy Day ends off the album with a bang. This EP is beautiful throughout, and deserves the perfect rating I'm giving it.
Mirage by Kaijak is just complete shit. This sounds bad. This is terrible. The instruments are shit. The only listenable quality about it is the fact that — uh — the man, Mr. Kaijak, did a pretty alright ending. Really just a uh-ruh-uh-ruh... A much worse instrumentation... Of the... Of his other EP, Far. It's a little thin. Sounds a little cheap. Sounds like it wasn't — uh — produced very lovingly. Uh, maybe more quickly. But, uh, it's... It's really just ... read more
