Jean Dawson - Pixel Bath
62

I hate my parents core.

This album is really weird for me. The biggest gripes I have with it is it’s flow and jean’s voice. But at times, this album is really good and fun and creative. But it’s held back so hard by those two things.

Björk - Debut
86

For a debut, it honestly sets you on the artistic path Björk would end up taking the rest of her career really damn well. Some incredible bops on it but she has made better, more thought provoking stuff later on.

100 gecs - Snake Eyes
NR

Demondice reference

Boris - Pink

I'm at a loss for words. This album is everything I want out of a rock album. Crushing riffs, booming drums, groovy bass, and unique vocals. Kicks ass through its pretty short and consise runtime of only 47 minutes and the album starts and ends with the two best songs. And probably two of the best rock songs of the 2000's.

The album sequencing is all over the damn place. Starting off with these pop punk songs infused with bits of hyper pop. Although I wish there was a bit more hyper pop influence. But I wish there were more ballads as the two at the end were by far the best songs in my opinion and were really beautiful and heartfelt. But that first song was a pretty sloppy introduction to this album. The singing is so annoying. But overall, good album.

Ace Hood - Bugatti
85

The banger to end all bangers

Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
73

To put this album in a word. Overrated

Black Sabbath - Paranoid
82

While it is great and very influential, I always find there’s too much downtime and repetitive parts for this album to truly be one of the greats in metal

Fishmans - 98.12.28 男達の別れ [98.12.28 Otokotachi no wakare]
95

A once in a lifetime experience that everybody needs to hear. Even if you don’t know Japanese or don’t like live albums. Just, please give it a shot or at least just listen to long season c’mon

IShowSpeed - World Cup
70

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard but it still goes hard and is unironically enjoyable

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
99

Truly a timeless classic.

Quadeca - I Didn't Mean to Haunt You
90

Very much surpassed my expectations. I did not expect the album to sound this sad, yet pretty at the same time. Too bad the features were underutilized (despite being great) and knots being a weak link in the track list

JAY-Z & Kanye West - Watch the Throne
69

Hit or miss. Misses are way more common but the hits go insanely hard

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing.....
93

Banger after banger after banger this guy don’t miss

Usually I can’t get into cloud rap. But this project is a major exception. With cloud rap, it feels like the main drawbacks are a failure of personality and world building. This album succeeds with flying colours on both fronts. The low mixing and cold, dark beats send me to a different dimension

El-P - Fantastic Damage
75

I didn’t really get into this album until the last three songs but everything leading up to those three songs isn’t bad, but too left field for me. The album does have my respect though. Big ups my man el

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
82

If Yeezus and charli xcx had a child it’d be this album and it’s fucking awesome

LCD Soundsystem - american dream
80

Not even remotely close to what the band can do but still has some great songs on it. Too bad that last song drags on forever

Danny Brown - Old
76

Has a lot of bangers and softer, more mellow rap Danny is known for doing on XXX. But, he does it better on that plus this albums production hasn’t aged the best. Still a good listen though.

Giles Corey - Giles Corey
99

I first listened to this album around September of last year. It’s something that I think about every single day since. This album has changed the way I see life and art and for that, I absolutely am obsessed with it. The short little baby review of this album I did wasn’t enough so I’m redoing it because this album deserves to be talked about.

My first relisten to this album was rough. Not the album itself just how I was feeling. Walking through nature during November of ... read more
