Pretty cool until that one guy starts screaming with a Tom Macdonald type flow. But the beginning is pretty good due to the fact that he isn't there as much
Very fun album and Thugger has a great voice but it is very frontloaded with the best track being the first one
Hasn't aged the best with all the f slurs but still some great classic boom bap from hov himself
Not as groundbreaking as their previous work, but still a pretty great album in its own special way
A little bit disappointing and generic after their last album. But still good and a precursor for the god like art they would make in the future
Did not think I’d enjoy this one this much. There’s no bad songs but the first batch aren’t as good or catchy as the ones in the end and especially the middle
Truly a flawless hip hop album. Every song, every interlude, every sound, every bar has no flaws whatsoever. Enlacing has become probably my favourite hip hop song of all time. Everybody should listen to this.
Comparing this to any other horrorcore album is like comparing Friday the 13th to Barney the Dinosaur
Nothing about this record stands out to me. It's not bad, but I feel like I can find so many better albums revolving around these themes. Will's voice also doesn't stand out to me and I find it kinda boring and not really passionate, unlike somebody like Thom Yorke or Michael Gira.
Beautiful album with one pretty bad song (looking at you, know).
Edit: (92-96). This album is weirdly life changing. I didn’t see it back then but I can’t put it down. Nick is truly a once in a lifetime artist. The way he’s so in tune with himself, nature, and the world he lives in is so inspiring and soul crushing. The production is beautiful, the lyrics beautiful, and overall it’s a classic that’s nearly flawless. If that one song wasn’t on here, ... read more
One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. But not comprimising with some absolute bangers in the first half.
While it might have worse moments then TCD, the highs make up for almost everything.
