still as weird as their previous two albums. the thing that feels different in this though is that it feels like there's more grpooving rythmic structires in here even if they're weird as hell. the singing definitely takes time getting used to especially on the song "war". overall it's still a really weird album from a really weird banz.
favorite tracks: war, living in the heart of the beast, beautiful as the moon - terrible as an army with banners

this was really good but this should have been longer. I was straight up vibing with this on a plane. I wouldn't say it's as good as chromokopia or album of the year but it was still a really solid album.
favorite tracks: sugar on my tongue, stop playing with me, ring ring ring, don't tap that glass/tweaker, don't you worry baby, I'll take care of you, tell me what it is
least favorite tracks: mommanem
lush and beautiful soundscapes after lush and beautiful soundscapes. the insane production of this thing does this album pretty well. I'm really excited for his new album now.
favorite tracks: sorry4dying, tell me a joke, born yesterday, fantasyworld, fractions of infinity
least favorite tracks: picking up hands, the memories we lost in translation (these tracks are still really good)

I like it just as much as their last album. it's definitely more out there and avant-garde than their previous one. the saxophone do still sound like they're getting molested so that's a plus. weird ass band with weird ass music that's good.
favorite tracks: bittern storm over ulm, half asleep; half awake, ruins, deluge
least favorite tracks: arcades
every time a saxophone is played on this it sounds like it's about to get pregnant. actually just making love to that sax. pretty good tho. the last two song do kinda derail the album a lil bit.
favorite tracks: nirvana for mice, amygdala, all of the teenbeat songs
least favorite tracks: the tenth chaffinch, nine funerals of the citizen king
weird as hell album. not a bad one but a pretty zany one. some parts I didn't like though (mostly the last track and the weird interlude.
favorite tracks: flying teapot, the pot head pixies, zero the hero and the witch's spell
least favorite tracks: the octave doctors and the crystal machine, witch's song/I am your pussy
I liked it. the thing just sounded like 70's zappa. really good jazz-rock. the first track is amazing btw.
favorite tracks: the grand wazoo, eat that question, blessed relief
least favorite tracks: cletus awreetus-awrightus
groove to the max. such a fun listen. I recommend anyone who is in New Orleans to walk around and listen to this album. best experience. goated too btw.

great great great ep. the vocals are iconic and awesome as hell. the guitar work on this is also iconic and stellar. I loved this.
favorite tracks: rotten apple, nutshell, don't follow
least favorite tracks: whale and wasp
a really good jazz fusion prog record, the lack of vocals in here overall enhance the experience on this. some of the tracks here even sound like some shit from mariokart. my two biggest problem on this record for me were the beginning of the track fainting in coils where there's this stupid ass talking bit in it that just takes me out of the album's overall vibe. and the last track (the song manacles which isn't shown on this album and is shown on spotify) would've sounded ... read more
batshit insanity the album. every track has something zany going for it. even the softer tracks like the widow have some weird things in it. even though the instrumentals are amazing, the vocals are fucking phenomenal. one really cool vocal moment was in L'via L'Viaquez when the rock moments are sung in spanish meanwhile the latin instrumentals are sung in english. so many cool moments. and that over 30 minute epic at the end. holy shit it's amazing.

a little forgettable at times but I really didn't dislike this. very weird ass prog. the vocals are greats btw.
favorite tracks: cancer of the band, tota in the moya
least favorite tracks: boris and his three verses
a beautiful and iconic piece of rock music as a whole. these songs basically take you to another planet. I honestly could say that I like this more than darkside of the moon. masterpiece of an album.
edit: I went to that show with that Australian tribute band and it honestly made this album better for me. especially shine on you crazy diamond (1-9). might actually be one of the best songs of all time.
favorite tracks: all of them
least favorite tracks: none of them
for an album by a prog band from the 70's forming back up to make album 15 years after their last one, it still sounds like something this band would've made back in the late 70's. all of the three parts for this (basically) 48 minute track are absolutely beautiful. great album.
favorite tracks: all of them
least favorite tracks: none of them
this band's music is literally pure jazz but with some rock elements in it. this specific genre of prog rock is awesome.
favorite tracks: kohntarkosz pt.1 and pt.2, ork alarm
least favorite tracks: coltrane sundia
this album was great. this band is cool in so many ways. the instrumentals, the vocals, and even the language that the band came up with themselves being used on this is cool. overall awesome album to listen to while on a 2 hour walk.
