WOW. These two work INCREDIBLY well as a duo and this is a mind-blowingly good project. It brought me to tears because of how genuinely amazing this entire project is. Its so grand in its composition and never lets down that feeling for even half a second. Unbelievable project that needs to have way more attention that it does. Seeing colin! on here was what made me interested, and it genuinely led to me discovering one of my new favorite albums ever. just wow.
Favorites: HELLO, I DONT CARE, NO, DOING IT BETTER
There are some great parts of this project, but overall it is very hit or miss, even between verses in the songs themselves. SSJ Daki, Brokie, and Jenx2 had the best performances in general here to me, as they had some pretty unique voices and vibes to their parts that made those tend to be my favorite parts of the songs they were on. DOING IT BETTER was the only one where it seemed like a real posse cut, and that was the best part of this ... read more
EDIT: Yeahh, ISSBROKIE in general really grew off me, this project especially. I don't like it nearly as much as I used to, as there are so many bad lines that are hard to look past, with some fairly repetitive production. Not bad, but not particularly all that special either.
A REALLY damn good collab album between ISSBROKIE and Buckx2. Buckx2 brings some really fucking good beats on here, and ISSBROKIE does a really good job of delivering over them. There may be a few corny lines on ... read more

Genre-wise this is all over the place, but emotionally it was all there and concise and concentrated. Really good project that unforunately didn't quite hit the Pink Hair EP's importance to me, but still a strong and emotionally open album.

shoegaze always manages to make me cry man, and this is no different. this is a really amazing project while being different than any other brokie project so something like this was really a lot for me. really loved this EP.

This has significantly different production and style than any other project ive heard from her so far, but it also fits her really well. Seeing her experiment with her style before landing on her current sound is really cool. Really good project all around.

I decided to go back and listen to some other projects by her, as i really liked ISSBROKIE's most recent project. Unfortunately, i do not think this project is nearly as strong or good, as there's a LOT of really corny and bad lines on here and some weird vocal deliveries. The production was all really damn good and pairs with her voice well, but not well enough to make the project great to me.
Favorites: GET ME RIGHT!, BOREDOM!, QOTB!
This feels like some cut songs from the main project that were even more lofi-feeling than the main project, so i see why they weren't on the main project. Some of these do seem like a step down from the main project, but nothing downright bad just kinda mid. BOREDOM! is really a standout here to me, a great song that i got a lott of enjoyment out of.

This continues the more lofi style of :3, which sounds really good here. The opener to the rest of the project is a real mood change, which is cool, but the opener also sounded really good and emotional. The rapping here is good, and the production melds really well with it. This is a really cohesive project that seems to really meet its goal, being simultaneously a silly and heartfelt project ... read more

These beats are really different from anything else ive heard from Brokie, but theyre hard as fuck. I do wish i could hear the vocals more, as the 808s kinda drown out a LOT sometimes. This is a bit weaker than most of her other projects, but its still good. The production is good and varies a lot, going from shit that sounds like 13 by Zeltron to something off Madvillany. Really interesting project and i can ... read more
Simultaneously the worst album ever and also one of the most mystical. It feels like this took 10 hours to get through and it was genuine torture the whole time. It alters time in such a way where you are trapped in this purgatory of shitty bland bad pop music for what feels like eternity. If this album was played along with torture they would give up after like 2 minutes because it felt like their whole lifetime. Nothing is exactly terrible on paper, but the experience is the worst thing ive ... read more

This is my introduction to billy woods, and from the first song i could already see how unique his style was. He has such a different voice and delivery than anyone else i have heard before, It definitely took some getting used to, but once it grew on me i appreciated the tracks a lot more. The delivery here is really unique and the project has some crazy rhyming throughout. The production is also something else, ... read more

going from BOMBINATION! to this is a huge difference. Now this would probably be released under shteppi, but that doesn't diminish the project at all. You can tell the personal growth this album gave to them, and making them more sure of themself within the last three years. The emotion here is really powerful. Nothing here feels misplaced, and it all forms a cohesive and rounded project that really hits you in the feelings.
This is a pretty good and interesting project! The opening skit is quite a bit longer than it needs to be, but that isn't that big of a deal really. These instrumentals are kinda crazyy, like idk how to process them as a fan of experimental hip hop. I think that YDRWF had an opportunity to move the vocal effect away after the first bar or two and it couldve elevated the song, but it still is a great song either way.
*EDIT: that transmasc line in YDRWF is really fucking bad and in poor ... read more

Extra Thoughts: THESE SONGS ALL NEED TO BE LONGER!!! WHY ARE THEY ALL ONLY LIKE 2 MINUTES LONG!!! these beats are genuinely insane madlib might be the goat. the fact that there's a few just instrumental tracks is pretty cool as well, not something you see all that often. Same with Operation: Doomsday, i liked the last part of this album a lot more than the first half. Also same with O:D, that could just ... read more
