This was an interesting album, really good features but it felt like they werent used to their fullest potential. There were some Revival sounding ass songs on here but that really didnt help the album much. This was full of some mediocre songs by a now unfortunately pretty mediocre artist.
Extra Thoughts: A$AP Rocky has a great voice for rapping. This is a very good first full project, he delivers really well and the beats on each song are pretty interesting! The fact he had a ScHoolboyQ feature on his first big project is kinda insane. Overall, this is a really good and unique mixtape as his first big project! He is That Pretty Motherfucker

Track by track thoughts
Feel The Love: Pusha T's verse was really good here, but i found this song really annoying because of that chorus.
Fire: This track was pretty good, but i didnt think it was anything that special? it was good but not like mindblowing or anything.
4th Dimension: The sample here is really cool, and the verses are really good but i just HATE the laughing between the two verses.
Freeee: The warping of the Ghost ... read more

First off, this album cover is REALLY weird. It looks really awesome at first, but then you get a closer look and his face is really fucked up. The blurring looks random, i cant tell where his mouth is, and his right eye is really badly edited onto his face and looks too small. Really just odd. This album is good, but its also a pretty significant downgrade from Long Live. It went in the direction of the part of ... read more

Man these two work so well together, i see why they kept making stuff together after this. Mike does a great job here and has a great voice for these really good beats that El-P brings. All the songs also flow into each other nicely which makes the experience really nice. although why did they say all that insane shit on Twin Hype Back what was that?? Regardless, they have really great chemistry here, with signs of ... read more

As someone who has only really heard ART OF WAR from this guy, i was curious and decided to check out his new album, NO HOLDS BARRED. These tracks are really pretty good! Not really my type of rap but also i can see and respect the quality of the project. I really like some of these instrumentals, and Jasiah's delivery style is pretty damn unique for the modern era of rap. The LIVE FIGHT DIE sample is ... read more

Released on streaming recently so i had to check it out. Its really cool and nice that Peggy still cares about his older work, and still releases it and puts effort into getting them out. Some really interesting tracks here, Lightbulbs has a really interesting sample, along with nilaplliK and the end of Operation: Kill Chet Haze + End To The Means. You can see that the ... read more

This cover is yet again hard as fuck and the title is perfect for being a collection of singles being put on streaming. The beats here are pretty damn good, but i still wish that Francium was more audible on the vocals here, as their delivery and aura is really cool. Makes sense that it wasnt changed though as this is meant to be a streaming release of singles that already existed. ... read more

This is a fun ass and silly little project. Not as good as Bastard but not worse by a wide margin at all. Earl has a really unique voice and delivery, which helps set him apart from Tyler. Really good first project.

Small EP by Denzel Curry that really deserves more attention, it was made between Imperial and TA13OO, and has a sick as hell style to it. Every beat here sounds really good, and is the exact type of dark trap beat im into. He is rapping his ass off here, and everything here sounds really good. This cover also goes hard as fuck, along with the title it is a great indication of what the project is like. At only 5 tracks and less than 15 ... read more

Along with EP!, Peggy dropped EP2!, which is more slow and melodic than most of his other work. Some great tracks on here, and wayy different than anything else he's made under the JPEGMafia alias, so it's way more worth listening to than EP! is. FIX URSELF! is genuinely incredible, along with FEED HER!.

Theres a few songs here ive heard before, but also quite a bit of songs that didn't make it onto either LP! or OFFLINE!, so i thought i would give it a listen finally. A lot of these tracks are experimental in a slightly different way than the albums were, which made it extra worth listening to as theres some really unique stuff here. With that being said, a lot of these tracks are weaker than anything off OFFLINE!, with the highlights being ... read more

This is just a fun studio session or two that Flume and Peggy had together a whileee ago, so i really wasnt that interested in giving this a listen, but i found some free time to listen to it and it was about as good as i expected. Track 1 was really fun, and like most people, i wish the 2nd half was its own track as that part was an actual song rather than a skit/song thing. This is clearly more Flume and less Peggy, which is fine but not the type of thing i ... read more

Really good debut for a then upcoming artist, you can already see his skill here, albeit less refined than on Dicaprio 2 or TFS. Theres some really great tracks on here, and JID is already showcasing his insane lyrical and rhythmical prowess. D/vision sampling the same yay sound used in FNaF is really funny, but it works in context on one of the best songs on the project. Somebody's theme is also very reminiscent of ... read more
this was bad, but not funny bad like Revival for the most part, just either boring or really unenjoyable. Nice Guy was literally unlistenable and is the worst song ive ever heard, the first 0 ive ever given out, and the rest of the album really isnt that much better. The first few songs were funny in the Revival way but the rest were mind numbing and bad. Also why did he feel the need to point out EVERY SINGLE DOUBLE ENTENDRE, he couldve just let it sit and be good but instead he had to say ... read more
This project is so different from anything else Kanye has made, and that REALLY works to it's advantage. Seeing someone as popular as Kanye making Industrial Hip-Hop and really pushing that sound into the mainstream is great, and makes me really appreciate the genre even more than I already did. There are some pretty silly lyrics on here, but the real highlight is the production, which really shines here.
WARNING: IM NOT THE BIGGEST FAN OF KANYE MUSIC OR POP RAP IN GENERAL
I liked this album, but there are some things that i am not the biggest fan of. I really wish the first half of ITAKY was its own track as it was a good speech opener but i dont really want to casually return to it like i do for the second half of the track. Yikes was good but the chorus was not something i particularily enjoyed. i have no real issue with All Mine, i thought that it was one of the best songs on the album and ... read more
