I enjoyed this quite a bit! it is very Noise, but i think that's kinda the point and the Rage-Computer-Space Rap stuff on here is really interesting and done well. I wish the lyrics were a little more prominent at a lot of points on here, as i really find their delivery and the way they carry themselves here to be really charming and wish it was more audible. There was some great production on here, but there could be some more variation in the sound for me as i did get a bit tired of it ... read more
This is a really great EP, a nearly perfect introduction to Slim Shady. The opener readies you for what the album is like, and the closer ends really well, tying up the ends. Seeing the old versions of some LP tracks was really cool, and this version of 97B&C is honestly better than the LP version, and is even more haunting. Great project all around and something that you should check out if you are into Eminem
All over the place review but also !!!!
Untouchable's beat genuinely shocked me and i was laughing for the whole part so i cant hate that song even though its really bad. Also why is Tragic Ending like entirely with a pass filter on it, it sounds like he's in the next studio over when recording everything (sob emoji). Framed has one of his worst choruses ever but also the song is so fucking funny again this album is funny for all the wrong reasons. also Heat is maybe the funniest ... read more
This album just gets better with every listen, the atmosphere is so well crafted and all the performances here are incredible. The only real thing I have to say is how it does sound a bit dated, but it's quite impressive how it is able to move above that and still be incredible despite that. Some of Denzel's best straight up rapping is on display here, and the worldbuilding through his beats and lyrics contribute to a very full experience with little to have issues with.
I didnt expect this album to be as experimental as it was. This feels like an improvement of his first project is every way. His energy is high throughout and is still just as, if not more, charming as he was in Live Love. These beats are really good and unique, you don't hear much like it now and it's a really cool sound. The Skrillex feature was funny as fuck why did he do that ππππ

this EP is a perfect continuation of its predecessor. something i didnt really mention in my review of the other EP is the amount of references to other rapper's flows and lyrics they make. It really works to their advantage here i think, and is a fun little addition. This world really pulled me in and tied the whole duology together. incredible set of EPs.
Favorites: Twin Geeker, Stripper Song, No Strings
This EP is really interesting, the opener creates a kinda entrance to the world of im guessing both projects? the production and rapping on this is insane, and this EP goes hard as fuck. This was a really great experimental project and i really loved the whole experience.

the opener set expectations high, and although i do think there was a bit of a stumble for BOO THANG, it recovered and is still a really good project overall. I think the high pitched voice thing done here could be improved a bit as well, as it is atonal at quite a few moments. I see a lot of potential for DAMFO, i think he can improve and make something that is really incredible as he continues making music.
Favorites: the title track, NITE LIFE, WAITING, SUPERHERO
Each song is very short, but i dont think thats a problem for this project! colin!'s delivery is really unique and theres some really beautiful tracks on here! A really great project all around.

this is a very bad sequel to the MMLP but its still a good album regardless. Really enjoyable, and some really high moments! So Far... was kinda goated it was genuinely hilarious.
the new songs are way better imo and the vince staples song is super fire but it still has DJ Drama being way too prominent
this album would be like an 80 if it werent for DJ Drama he pisses me the fuck off
Really underrated project in his catalogue, with some really impressive production and storytelling for his age. There are some pretty horrendous lyrics here, but they work at telling the story needed here. Sarah is the grossest track I have ever listened to, which is good as that was the main goal of the track. Surprisingly well made, despite how insane it is.
this is my favorite tyler album? its sound is really satisfying to me and i really enjoy this project a lot.
This album was an entertaining first listen, but man i do not really care that much for pop rap. It does have quite a few good songs but there is nothing that sounds that different from any other song on this album to me and it has some of the worst choruses (but also LTWYL which is like one of the best of his discography). I would not call this a bad album at all, just one that i do not necessarily care about all that much.
already having the track with Danny Brown on my playlist for a while, i figured it was time to give this a full listen! Another really enjoyable project, but i do still think M3 AND MIN3 is my favorite track. The production is a lot more "round" feeling than her last, which i dont like as much as the straight hardcore stuff but its still very good. it DOES have my favorite femtanyl track on it though, so i think its about the same as her last project.
