The production leaned way more electronic than expected for much of it and I thought the beats were quite good for the most part. But Peggy’s delivery sounds the most one note and topically bland it ever has on a lot of this project- and not to say that makes it bad by any means, but it does reduce how stand out many of his performances are.
(Edit:) the more I listen the worst the beats are lowkey. there’s an odd amount of character that feels fully absent
It’s like half trashy fun dance music & half Tory Lanez one album that sounds kinda like The Weeknd
It’s not my fav Charli song ever but you woulda thought this song was awful the way people on this site talking about it
Feels like half a song and an outro. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a REALLY GOOD half of a song but it feels unsatisfying ultimately.
