Yeat - 2093
88

this albums biggest thing working against it is the bloat cause my god, its a problem.

Yeat - LYFESTYLE
70

43 --> 70

this project has grown on me a lot, still dont like it as much as i liked 2093 or dangerous summer but these are just mindless rage bangers. Yeat is one of the best in the rage scene kind of outdoing heavy hitters like carti and ken carson in terms of recent output

LL COOL J - Phenomenon
80

4,3,2,1 is a top 30 rap song oat

LL COOL J - G.O.A.T.
70

I have a soft spot for LL and this album plays into it

LL COOL J - THE FORCE
82

almost 40 years since his game changing debut, LL somehow drops one of his best projects

LL COOL J - Radio
80

dated but an ESSENTIAL listen for 80s hip hop

LL COOL J - Mama Said Knock You Out
93

This album is a classic that not nearly enough people talk about as a whole project. this is one of the albums that helped me get into hip hop so maybe im biased but to me this is an essential listen for the 90s

Drake - Duppy Freestyle
82

Yall were so mean to this song WOW.

Just wanna start by saying i dont think drake won this beef at all but his performance here is hungry as fuck and the song itself is scathing and the beat is top tier.

just so hapens this aged really badly knowing what happened after this track...

Drake - Back To Back
92

this beat is hard asf and this is a genuinely great diss track. drakes peak

Ski Mask the Slump God - The Lost Files
70

im happy the released this and hopefully we get more but the lack of freddy vs jason after having it promised kinda irks me

The Game - The Documentary 2
82

there are skips sure, hashtag is pretty bad and standing on ferraris isnt great either, the rest of this album really does live up to the first documentary

Ice Cube - Man Up
37

I didnt even know this dropped

Cube... just retire please. while rappers like Nas prove that you can be a veteran in the game and still make quality and even LL released a really solid album last year, the west coast legends cant seem to do the same.

N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton
94

for its impact and influence, straight outta compton is very reasonably called one of the greatest rap albums of all time

Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
48

couple of bangers but honestly super overrated. its aged really damn poorly and while some of these songs are solid, i will never understand the all time lists eazy gets put on as even in NWA hes probably my least favourite part of the crew.

the production is solid but a lot of this writing is absolutely abysmal and only works for a lot of people because of WHO its coming from and if the WHO is what carries that WHAT then its not worth listening to

Eazy-E - It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa
80

genuinely a really solid listen, i actually think it's on is a more enjoyable song that real muthaphukkin G's. a whole diss EP is an interesting thing that nobody has really done since and i think its wonderfully petty coming from Eazy

Cypress Hill - Stoned Raiders
70

apart from possibly the worst intro to an album i've heard in a while im actually pleasantly suprised and think this is a much better attempt at rap metal than skull and bones. its nowhere near as good as their peak but i'll be damned its not awful

Cypress Hill - Skull & Bones
50

The first disc is solid but i am not feeling the second disc

Conway the Machine - From King to a GOD
86

Lemon is a top 20 rap song of the decade

"Considering you liked flashout freestyle, give stunt 4 life by ezcodylee a shot. Given he already features on the original half blood you might fw it. It blends rage and punk rock perfectly in my opinion, and doesnt feel like the fake "punk" personas that carti or che have done in recent years"

"@StarLightBBX as someone who isnt a drake fan, idk why he hates in drake so strongly. I dont believe he's ever gone into any reasons he just pokes fun at him all the time. Granted its funny, but he's doint the same thing people dislike drake for. Repetitive whining"
On 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓪's review of ezcodylee - STUNT 4 LIFE
"@dingalingaling i got it as soon as he started using the word "punk" the way he did. Being punk is being unapologetic about your politics and your opinions and che expresses absolutely none of that. Apart from the abrasive sound, there's no essense of 'punk' in anything that che does, especially in comparison to ezcodylee who has punk DNA embedded into each bit of the music"

"@redsnapper2 not at all, just because they employ distortion doesnt mean it distorts everything else, its a very clearly controlled chaos with death grips. With 2slimey it clearly trumps everything else in the instrumental and even the vocals."
On #1 MIDWXST DICKRIDER 🍆💦's review of 2slimey - times changin
"@ramonapark01 absolutely not lmao. Death grips isnt an assault on the ears with distorted 808s cranked to the max with trash lyrics and no variety in the delivery."

"@ramonapark01 death grips actually have talent. they actually pushed the envelope for the time and have substance to their writing. what does 2slimey bring to the table? I dont really hate 2slimey but death grips make coherent music, 2slimey doesnt."

"@felix_valkyria that history has no baring on the fact ice, especially as it stands right now, is a dangerous and tyrannical institution. it is wild to dismiss that fact due to the reason it exists because as it stands, innocent people are dying and its not just the sex traffickers and drug traffickers because the government that are so involved in funding ice, have also been covering up the biggest sex trafficking ring in human history. you're missing the point beyond belief. I wont deny that traffickers and other awful people have been persecuted at the hands of ICE, but as it currently stands, the way that institution is being handled as we speak is dangerous and it needs either drastically reformed, or abolished."

"i didnt interpret it as a conversion bar, just one about fucking a bi girl, but yeah it doesnt make it any less cringe to hear him sing about. it always annoys the fuck out of me whenever someone does it as a massive Abel fan."
On PlasticTrees's review of Che - REST IN BASS: ENCORE
"@th3o you dont need video proof to believe carti beat his gf retard. Do you think thats the only valid form of proof for someone to believe someone did something? Do you think EVERYTHING is recorded or else it didnt happen? The closest we have is the footage of the interrogation and direct aftermath of him 'alledgedly' beating that pregnant woman. If you do your research you will find plenty good reasons that people believe that he did that."
On jackolson45's review of Nas - Magic 3
"As someone who likes this album a good bit more than most, magic 2 and 3 are so much less focused than magic 1. I think its because magic 2 and 3 were a lil more rushed and looser in concept as magic 1 was made in anticipation for KD3, but did something with more of an old school feel to set it apart. Magic 2 and 3 arent being made in anticipation of anything and just instead feel like throwaways from nas and hits other sessions"

On nino888's review of OsamaSon - Flex Musix
"@ChemicalRr not particularly, it can be in a lot of cases but aesthetic can be correctly used in many different ways kinda used interchangeably with vibe in a musical context but the visual aspect is often used to strengthen the aesthetic in other areas. Again to use an example, opiums visual aesthetic is used in tandom with the aesthetic they use in their music"
