an underrated classic. t shirt & buddens is a top 15 diss track of all time and im tired of acting like it isnt
Not given nearly enough appreciation. every song is fire, every feature delivers (even if i wish common had a larger role on wishin), mac and logic both bring their best features ever and black thought KILLS wishin 2 which is, imo, possibly a top 10 rap song of last decade. A DOOM feature is always great too.
if you havent, please give this album a listen
This is a banger, both phresher, 2chainz and em snap on this track and he finally did the beat justice cause it was wasted on the og track. the original revival version was awful and the beat was great
fucking insufferable, thank the fucking lord this is shorter than results may vary but not even wes borland saves this album because supposedly he was forced back into the band for this record by interscope. the mixing is god awful and this album is way too derivative of rage against the machine, but without any of what makes rage such a great band. Fred durst is not who i go to for political commentary and he doesnt put any energy in his performances. comparing this to rage against the machine ... read more
some of this production is so FUCKING hard its just too bad fred durst ruins it.
seriously he's at his most annoying on here and the fact that the follow up album 'results may vary' is possibly their worst and DOESNT feature wes borland is very telling. the riffs on this album ALL kick ass all thanks to wes borland. im pretty sure i glaze him in the still sucks review and believe me when i say not only is this him at his best and most creative, but its some of the most ... read more
not aged the best, but you cant deny how wild this is to look back on. like the title implies, it was one hell of a time to be alive
i've got so much nostalgia for this album so forgive me if im a lil biased, but this album is a big comfort.
so much better and stronger than i was are both undeniably skips and so far has cute moments but is mostly kinda bad. Apart from that, this is ems best post TES project. Has some really fuckin great moments (bad guy is just as good as stan, fight me), survival is uplifting and feels like if recovery was a lil more fleshed out (oh and the mixing is trash but the beats solid, thanks ... read more
Haunted mound reapers has gotta be one of the hardest songs i've heard in a while
im here to play devils advocate for MTBMB so bare with me.
Now this has some pretty bad tracks, to get them out the way stepdad and marsh are awful. also as impressive and (for the most part) decent godzilla is i physically cant listen to it, especially the awful fast rap part that i think completely ruins the momentum. Those kinda nights is also a pretty bad song... but also kind of a guilty pleasure im sorry. also not a big little engine fan
Yah yah is incredible, that feature list is ... read more
WOW.
easily their best work since issues and i'd argue top 3 in their discography. Korn finally makes an album that feels inspired 20 years after issues released after having no sense of identity for a decade. JD deals with grief all over this record and the emotion is as potent as ever. whenever JD manages to lock in an emotion along with the rest of the band, for example the issues with his divorce on 1999's issues and the raw anger and loss of innocence heavily featured in their ... read more
much better than what came before and pretty underrated compared to the last few albums
Fuck this album. I genuinely cannot stand it and i cant believe this got past the drawing board. Its so fucking soulless
