What i wrote about the Kings Disease 2 basically applies to this one too, but i slightly prefer the second one
During the King's Disease/Magic era Nas and Hit-Boy chose Quality and Quantity. but only a couple of the songs are still being regularly revisited by me. These songs are absolutely great though.
Nas continues to make great music decades after starting his career. Nas and Hitboy are a great duo. But there are a lot of songs i don't really listen to.
Cool to see all these artists in one project. I wish a lot of these would do more collabs outside of the Dreamville projects, but this is still an album filled to the brim with bangers.
This is definitely an album i like more now, then when i first listened to it. Childish Gambino always mixes loads of different influences, which I'm not always a fan of, but most of the songs on this album are really cool.
My favorite A$AP Rocky album. Crazy production, crazy flows, crazy vibes. Holy Ghost is my favorite song, but the album is filled with insane moments.
Childish Gambino makes the most unique sounding Hip Hop albums. some songs are just not really my cup of tea.
Denzel Curry's most mature album. incredible songs with great production.
probably Denzel Currys best Concept, but some songs are musically not my favorite. Sirens with JID is one of his best songs.
Crazy how 2 artists, that were both past their prime, managed to produce this album, that is way better than most things both of them made at the time. cool Production with great rapping, singing and really good features.
Half of the Songs are really great with good rapping performances and really nice production. the other half is also alright but nothing i ever returned to since first listening to it.
Another project where JID shows his crazy skills. The only JID album with a J. Cole feature and yet it is one of my least favorite songs. Every song is still really good.
Some good songs. nothing extremely special. Nas Morales is really good.
One of the Strongest Debuts of the 2010s. JID already has generational bangers on this album.
This album features a lot of Great songs that can compete with songs from To Pimp a Butterfly and Good Kid M.A.A.D City. some other songs can't.
Even after God does like ugly, this album still features a lot of JID's best rapping, lyrics, story's and in my opinion best production.
