EDIT: 35-> 45
Damn that middle stretch was ROUGH. also sad that such a good hook from denzel was wasted on that weak ass beat on ULT.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Gook, Zenith, This Life, If Tommorow's Not Here
Bastard but worse.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Parents, Widescreen, N64, Like Me, Benz, A Day in the Life of Denzel Curry, Part 2
Super disappointing. Doesn't even come CLOSE to touching Piñata. Literal lullaby compilation disguised as a rap album. I probably won't even listen to my "favorite tracks" from this album ever again but here we go.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Massage Seats, Situations, Soul Right
Extremely forgettable. Some of Alchemists most generic beats oat. Willie Lloyd goes insanely hard tho.
FAVORITE TRACKS: The Blow, New Thangs, Saturday Night Special, Willie Lloyd
Just disappointing, Crushed Glass is amazing but is also the only memorable track.
I'm genuinely shocked at how magnificent this album is. Looked into this cuz of Fantano's review and was instantly hooked. I don't think I've ever heard a stronger first half of an album, ever. The production is astonishingly beautiful and Lil B's lyricism is unmatched as always. Thoroughly enjoyable with tons of replay value.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Open Thunder Eternal Slumber, Game, Unchain Me, Neva Stop Me, Gon Be Okay, I Hate Myself, I Seen That Light
Some songs are pretty boring and Freddie's singing is a pleasant surprise, but very hit or miss. I actually didn't like extradite. Other than that, pretty solid. Rearview is now one of my favorite freddie songs oat.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Rearview, Narcos, Careless, Fuckin' up the count, McDuck, 10 times, Forever and a Day, Insecurities.
Just super solid. Some of the songs sound a little generic and similar to each other, especially during the middle stretch. Supplier is genuninely horrible. The final track was amazing. First ever Freddie Gibbs album I've listened to and it left me thirsting for more. Will be listening to the rest of his discography.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Deeper, High, Lakers, Knicks, Piñata.
I don't think I've ever been this dissapointed. Waited 3 years for this bs. The songs sound like a lot of effort was put into them, but they are just so unbelievably boring. Tyler's flow is boring, his lyricism of the entire album gets repetitive very quickly. It started off strong with the first 3 tracks, but It just kept getting worse and worse. Almost every song after track 3 is so generic and forgettable. This album overall has no replay value to me.

When I first heard Pre and Burgundy I thought I was in for an absolute masterpiece (yes I like Pre). 20 wave caps was pretty good, but then everything just got worse from there. I honestly thought Hive was pretty boring and forgettable. Chum got my hopes up, but then it went back to boring uninspired instrumentals. Earl's rapping and flow are fine, his lyricism is great as always, I just can't get over how BORING these songs are. Guild was honestly pretty good though I don't know ... read more
home from the holidays, my friend pulled me to the side said did you hear about jack? which jack? Our jack? His girlfriend told me he had a smelly ballsack
My personal favorite rap album of all time. production is perfect. Domo Genesis flows well and is not nearly as "carried" as some of the reviews say he is. Personal favs of the album are all alone, til the angels come, and prophecy
People really using the excuse that he meant the songs were supposed to sound the same. People forget sometimes that albums are supposed to have GOOD music and not just theme or messages. Shit album.
Probably a regression in production from Tyler's debut mixtape bastard, however there are still some fire beats like those on Her, She, and Yonkers. Ending track is a beautiful end to the three albums (if you're listening chronologically.)

Despite the crazy lyrics, it's mostly told for a story. On top of glorious beats and seeing early odd future, Tyler sounds like hes making this music for himself, like a diary, perfect album. (TINA IS MEANT TO BE BAD)
