This is absolutely timeless and perfect, been in love with this band since the early 2000's, Is This It sits at the throne, the rest of the discography is also really, reeeeeally good, but this is so efortlessly fun and enjoyable.
None of these 35 minutes are a waste, this album's aesthetic is unmatched. The tracks are undeniably smooth, sexy and invigorating.
This album brings me great joy, i can listen to it for hours without getting bored, i think that the production is good, the choice of instrumentals fit like a glove, the tracks are versatile in a way that just feels coozy. I don't have anything bad to say about the lyrics nor the change of style, i simply just like it a lot.
After listening to it for a couple of weeks, it grew a lot on me, this is special for sure, i dare say even better than Daytona.
The man makes slanging dope look like the purest form of art, there are bars for days. It shows that even as a family man, keeping some distance from the stove, he still has a lot of contacts and respect, if he wanted to come back it would be on an instant, absolute menace.
The album opens up with some hard hitting tracks, sadly i can't say that about some songs on the second half tho. I was going to give this a higher score based on nostalgia, but after listening to it for the past week i've decided to go with the general rataing.
