Frank Ocean - Blonde
100

Probably my most listened to album ever and the one I carry a large emotional connection with during the earlier parts of my adolescence.

Nujabes - Modal Soul
89

Any Jazz sample Nujabes (R.I.P) touches turns to gold.

Kanye West - Late Registration
91

This is my dark horse Kanye LP. Its just good ass music.

Kanye West - The College Dropout
88

It's just nice to lookback and understand the roots of when it all started

Night Lovell - Concept Vague
82

Driving at night with this on is good vibrations

93

It's long enough to consider this a classic.

Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
100

This is the most jazziest jazz I've jazzed in a jazzing long time. It's so jazzy I jazzed my pants. That guitar I think gave me a nonsexual orgasm. On a serious note, I can't find a reason to hate it not that I want to it's just perfect, flawless, great to play around yourself and your family.

Slint - Spiderland
97

I don't necessarily love it yet, but I do like it a lot. Who knows I'll give it more listens

EDIT: HOLY FUCKING SHIT
87 -> 97

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
72

Nothing profound or interesting that hasn't been done before. Lyrics were alright I guess. Has moments where it sounds kind of cool.

EDIT: Listened a few more times, I still think it is the most over-rated internet-core album in my opinion.

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
89

This was how I escaped listening to SoundCloud rap when I was 14 and I got flamed for it :(

파란노을 [Parannoul] - After the Night
96

Can't wrap my ahead around how this was made live. It is aesthetically pleasing to my ears.

Whirr - Feels Like You
86

This is the gold standard when it comes to making Shoegaze in this decade.

Calvin Harris - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1
79

Really good for rare scenarios like on a beach vacation.

Kanye West - Yeezus
91

I feel like a gladiator in the best way possible.

Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend
84

It's not a masterpiece at all, but its fun to listen to and that's all that matters AOTY. Not every song has to make you think of your childhood trauma for you to like it.

Deafheaven - Sunbather
93

I don't listen to heavier music especially metal, hell for me its downright repulsive except for this. The fact that Shoegaze is mixed with Black Metal actually pulled me in despite feeling a resounded hesitancy. I enjoy it a lot actually which the LP sounds better and better with every listen.

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
88

Not as emotional that Kendrick can get, but DAMN has bangers.

Nas - Illmatic
99

You can't find a reason to hate it. It's a masterpiece.
