I love this Steve's little guitar riffs and ballads. Such a comfort listen. Only reason it's not higher is I'm not as high on the second half of the project as the first
Insanely underrated. Even if it's underproduced acoustic loosies from earlier in his career, the Lo-Fis were fun and I come back often.
I feel like this is just The Bends but better executed. I love the dystopian feel, Fitter Happier is overhated.
This thing is ridiculously abstract, it's probably only gonna grow on me
A little underwhelmed, I don't know what Amine was going for on this one. He's lost in the sauce
Got this recommended to me in the last 6 months, and it's easily one of my favorite listens. It's got a little something for anyone that listens, whether Pop Rap, Trap, Boom Bap, Conscious Rap, RnB, etc. I never thought a song named Fetus would have me so entranced. Don't write off Amine man
Take all the problems with We Don't Trust You and magnify them by 10. That's what this project is.
Fun trap project from Metro n Future. Obviously love Like That, but I still think some of the other hits hold weight as well. This rating might be too low, but I can't tolerate a whole project of Future without something to break monotony
Probably the least sleepy J. Cole project. This thing actually has some hard hitting cuts that I see myself revisiting.
This project is basically just watered down GKMC, but honestly even the scraps of GKMC are good enough to get this thing a pass. I actually do find this to be the best Cole album, with touching melodies and a half decent concept.
J. Cole indeed did J. Cole things here. Surface level conscious rap, nice flows, decent bars. Everything you would expect. The vanilla ice cream of rap
My personal favorite Drake project. Boi-1da and 40 outdid themselves on this, and Drake sounds so hungry (not for the dih either).
This might grow on me because there's a lot of songs on here that other people like A LOT that I'm not high on (what's the hype around Tuscan Leather?). That being said, loved Drizzy's first look at RnB, and the last two songs are great.
