Crazy how I didn't know who Anri was. Of course I have heard her name a couple of times from my brother but not too much. So I didn't have a lot of expectations going into the album and what can I say a fully surprising listen for me. I think am not the only one to think that the production is so perfect every song it doesnt matter if i liked it the instrumentals were fucking fresh. Even Anri's vocals just perfectly blended into the production. The only problem is that as you ... read more
Finally reviewing this album after months of hearing it… Anywayy this it probably top 2 radiohead album out of the ones i have listened to overall i think in rainbows is a better album because the highs on that album are fucking amazing but camparing them feels wrongs so am just going to talk about Ok Computer now. This album has so much going on for it. The build ups are almost always satisfying. The instrumentation is not normal ( if you can say that ) its really experimental which i ... read more
100th review special ♥️
Well as this is a special milestone i had to choose a special album to review and that is Nick Drake’s Pink moon. Pink moon is a surprise for me. While listening to the album I wasn’t intrigued even though I liked the softness of the album I couldn't feel a connection until I did. Nick Drake's vocals and lyrics cut through you; they just make you feel this melancholy feeling . you feel your heart melting away at the guitar and the ... read more
I mean what a good introduction to an artist goddamn. Even though either/or is short it stands out. Elliots vocal are of course the main course that i devour all the fucking time. The guitars on angelelas are just some of the best shit i've heard. But what I really love about this album is Elliot himself. His way of speaking and conveying his emotions are so real and it feels like he’s explaining his frustration in front of you and that quality I have only found in this album as of ... read more
Dreamy is what i would say to describe this album well no shit sherlock its a dream pop album but despite that this album is exactly what i think of when someone says the genre of dream pop really a classic in its genre and overall. A lot of standout tracks but also songs that I think I won't be going back to because there's just better songs on the album. My favs are definitely: heaven or las vegas, road river and rail, frou-frou foxes in midsummer fires, ice blink luck. And yes i ... read more
My first album from weyes blood just saying that to start the review, If I am being honest after listening to the album i didn’t really go back to it hardly ever actually but once i did oh my goodddd. It’s such an easy listen from front to back it reaches these highs that are so beautiful and gorgeous and so effortless as it seems. I think I have to mention that the album cover is probably one of the best looking album covers ever . And it literally sounds like the album cover the ... read more
Second project that i have listened to from Sophie and well there's not much to say truly a generational artist. No one has ever done this kind of wonky poppy sound this fucking crispy and catchy like. It’s probably the most fun album I have listened to in months. The production is so fucking wonky but so fucking perfect in moments. Every synth on this compilation had a purpose to fulfil likee. But her debut album is still an improvement in every way possible
Cameron winter the lead singer of geese as everyone knows released a solo album. The first thing that I want to point out is the difference between geese and his solo releases. Heavy metal gives us an example of his great song writing skills even though they do shine on the geese albums this time around a lot of the focus is on Cameron’s voice and lyrics. Heavy metal is an unexpected album that has been in my cycle a lot. Actually, the second listen really just opened my eyes and after ... read more
Probably one of the loudest pieces of sound I have ever heard but still it kinda intrigues me in a way.
The band Yuragi made an EP that to me sounds like sunbathers' little sister. The explosive and lush shoegaze sound always gets me. so everytime i listen to a shoegaze album I feel more than pleased. Especially on nightlife the band crafted a great mixture of vocals and instrumentals. I would say that my favorite song would be Sleep tight because it has that explosive shoegaze sound right at the beginning and it hits you like a brick wall. But the song AO. really piqued my interest, ... read more
Geese Getting killed was my top 5 2025 album for a reason. Really just amazing in every way possible. I have to point out Cameron Winter's voice. just one of a kind singer, songwriter ( i listened to heavy metal as well ). Instrumentally fun, weird and explosive. Getting killed is one step closer for them to become a very important band in the future. I can definitely see this influencing a lot of people in the future. The only problem I can point out is that I haven't really replayed ... read more
A really surprising album for me. I wanted to listen to it because of the weird ass cover so i wasn’t expecting a good album but am really glad i listened to them. The best part of the album is the production. It's really crunchy and catchy especially on songs like “real life” and the title track. I love how weird the beats are. It really kinda differentiates the album from others. But I guess the main problem for me is that some songs are just okay.
One of my most played albums this month. Just such a magical and weird album, LONG SEASON feels more like a movie or a book. It’s a 35 minute journey that feels like an ongoing dream that keeps on changing and keeps on getting weirder as time goes on. It’s an album I know that I will appreciate even more in the future. I was debating on giving this album a 10 but even though it’s not it’s very close to it.
My first MF DOOM album and very good introduction to him. A really unique concept album that has interesting and fun beats. Even though I haven't replayed a lot of the album I have a lot of standout tracks like: One bear, Rap snitch knishes, vomitspit. I want to point out that the features are great as well and really just made the album better. MM…FOOD is probably one of the most interesting rap album concepts that I have listened to.
Don’t tell me why I like this, just don’t. It’s Just a captivating listen that is uncomfortable but relatable in a way.
This to me is aphex twins most fun and experimental album to date ( at least from what albums i have heard from him) the instrumentals are catchy and very fucking weird like every aphex twin album. Richard d. James album feels like aphex twin combining bits and pieces from other albums of his and well he created his most fun album with this one. I do think that selected ambient works is better but that doesn’t take away anything from this album.
Jane Remover's ep ♡ is one most exciting listen for me especially this year because well Revengsekeerz is my album of the year. I can fully say that I prefer Revengseekerz not to compare but I think what Jane did on that album is more than spectacular and magic. Heart is more poppy but still has that jane remover song structure of the catchy melodies and intense ends. My fav track is probably a dream sequence which is such a fucking good song to end the ep just saying.
This is a pretty easy 10/10 for me. really surprised how phil treated the drums and moments how distorted they are the best example of that i guess is i want wind to blow. The track starts off with beautiful instrumentation that slowly turns into a menacing distorted drum song. Sometimes I am so blown away at the fact that these albums were released in the early 2000s cuz it just sounds so crisp to my ears. I really don’t know others' experience with this album but for me it's ... read more
I am rating this after months of listening to it… a song like dream house is not rateable likee what can i say. As of right now ive listened to 2 deafheavens albums and i like this album more. Kinda the first time I listened to blackgaze and it’s perfect for me. Listening to sunbather fully for the first time was definitely an experience of itself. Specifically how the album ends with the pecan tree. Sunbather is very harsh and stretched out. And that to me is not a problem. The ... read more
