A project with some good bop's but nothing extraordinary.
Fav: Daydreaming
Worst: Boyfriends (???)
Alexa, define 'guilty pleasure'
It's such an incredibly good surprise that I'm almost dropping tears of pure joy :)))
Something different, it irradiates pure emo energy on a way that I never saw them doing.
Fasten your seatbelts, because it looks like Gerard and the crew will take us on a much more dark-emo and mature MCR experience, and I'm personally all for it!
It's still hard to believe that this guy will be playing Spider-Man on cinemas in a few years
You get a banger of a track in the intro 'Darkness Fades' and then nothing comes near...
'Must Hear Album'? More like 'Must Hear Intro'.
Solid track, I'll do a long review on the upcoming album since the vocalist was a special part of my childhood and I'm really hoping for it to turn out well
Ok, this is just too bad. Another band that has fallen after an incredible debut album
This project is as strange as the CGI used on the advertisement for it

God I love that 'Jacob's Note' interlude to 'Moth To A Flame', magical stuff.
Fun house record, if it had more collabs as good as the ones from A$AP Rocky and The Weekend, it would be a so much better album.
Spent a good time listening to this though.
I don't even enjoy Metal very much, but this masterpiece from SoaD just hits different. What a piece of art enchanting my ears with a plethora of screams, harmony and deep lyrics.
It's quite cool to think that I started reviewing music in AOTY with an album from an indietronica/indie-pop band called Wallows, which I first knew their existence from a single recommendation of a friend of mine: 'Remember When', from their most recent album at that moment, 'Nothing Happens'. I liked that music so much that I began going deeper into their discography, starting by listening to the album where the track came from. Good experience overall, saved more than 2 tracks from that ... read more
Well Charli, you did it: 3 of these new 4 musics were the element lacking on a 80 rating.
This is what I call a true pop album (with a doubtful cover)
EDIT: Kinda forgettable songs as the time passes by...
Fun listen, ending as good as it started. Shame that the in-between wasn't on the level of both 'computer exploder' and 'carousel' (tav world is unavailable for some reason that i don't know), even though there wasn't no 'bad' music here
The song that came after i finished on the radio of the album made a bigger impact than the whole album. Lacked some soul or marking lyrics, unimpressed.
