I'm all for this emotionally charged post punk. Every song on this album feels urgent and full of energy. After many listens these songs don't get old thanks to the intense delivery and good songwriting.

Favorite Songs: Long, Give/Take, Lilac

Great addition to the Yumi Zouma discog. A lot of great chill synth pop here. This album doesn't suffer from the same fate that a lot of indie pop albums do of sounding the same throughout the tracklist. There is some great pacing here.

Favorite Songs: Cool For a Second, My Palms Are Your Reference to Hold to Your Heart, and Lie Like You Want Me Back

Pretty underwhelming, I felt like Jay Z stole the show on most of the tracks. The only track I liked was A.P.I.D.T.A

As a preface, I have been a fan of Rory since his “Things that Happen at Night/Day” project. I’ve witnessed in real time the progression he has made with his rap career this past decade. It has been an interesting ride thus far and can confidently say Rory is my current favorite rapper.
