Cordae is honestly one of my favorite rappers. He's definitely not the best, but the energy he brings to tracks is absolutely amazing. Sometimes it can be playful (shown here), or other times, serious (such as in Dream in Colour), but regardless of what he does, 'the body drips swag like a leaky faucet.'
Super starts out with a pretty slick hook, which shows Cordae flexing his status and wealth, along with his text flex about his conversations with Twitter founder Jack Dorsey (maybe he can get ... read more
Hopsin is hopping over his mental hurdles. See what I did there. I had a bar. Hopsin has these, but good.
Montery Jack Cheddar by Little Nasir 10 is a good album.
Starting off with the controversial Montero, the album wastes no time getting into the topics and major themes of love, acceptance, and homosexuality. It's loud and bold, and for some reason, when I was listening to the album, I got the clean version ("shoot a child in my mouth while I'm riding" is changed to "put a smile on your mouth while I'm ****" and I find that absolutely hilarious).
We then move into the ... read more
Guys, I think Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar are related...
I'm going to be honest, I don't really listen to rap for lyrics. I don't. When I'm actively listening to a song, I feel I'm not enjoying myself when I'm listening, but back at school. But if the track has a good vibe, then you better know that I'm enjoying myself. And goddammit this track bangs.
I'll be honest, I just came here for Kendrick, but Baby Keem did have some good energy. That opening with that grandiose beat was the ... read more
Ya done good mediocre man, ya done good.
Hello person(s) reading this review, I am back from a week of binging Netflix, and am ready to review music again.
= is the first Ed Sheeran album of I'll actually be listening through, and thanks to this single, I have some hope. for it. It's not blowing me away or giving me chills like songs such as 'Me and the 6ix' or 'Sisyphus' which are also emotional ballads did, but this track is freaking gorgeous, due to Ed actually paying attention to his ... read more
God's Plan,
I aced that,
Got an A+,
Got drinks after,
I found a girl,
She liked my greens and meat,
Guess she's an omnivore,
Because she likes both equally,
I told her "Are you from Memphis, you're the only Ten-I-See,"
She cringed so hard, that she hit the remote,
The remote turned on the Telly,
On which a Hitler doc was playing,
Giving inspiration to write Diplomatic Immunity.
Writing this took 20 minutes.
Anyways, I promised 3 PROJECTS this week (what, no I didn't say albums, ... read more
Screw Lil Yachty,
He crashed into the coastline,
The new Lil Boat's trash,
Teenage Emotions,
It should be 'Liv's title,
My man.
This album has better reviews than your whole Career (damn),
Throw all your albums into the trash can,
You will be forgotten forever, your raps they ain't fire,
Your raps are less flamethrower, more dragon that's retired.
Welcome to my 20 follower special!
To celebrate, I'm going to attempt to review 3 albums this week (instead of my 2/mo), because I'm grateful for ... read more
Wow.
I don't know what else to say. This is just an absolutely terrific project, a nearly perfect masterpiece of emotional darkness, edge, and power.
There's anthemic tracks like Legend, which slowly starts with an empty drum beat and transitions into a strong soul sample that's loud and proud. Drake has this loud, yet slow singing which shines fantastically on this beat.
There's the energetic and empowering tracks like Energy, where talk about Drake's come up, and his wealth, along with ... read more
I'm about to LOSE my god damn mind. Knowledge just got a collaboration with Lil "Tunechi" Wayne. WHAT KIND OF WORLD DO WE LIVE IN!!??
KSI has been improving his singing voice dramatically. It went from "I gOt MiLlIoNs oN mY MiNd" to smooth singing on his recent album "All Over the Place." If KSI is going to be a pop rapper, he's got the skills to both sing, and rap.
His vocals are relaxing during the simple verses, talking about losing his "OnE aNd OnLy ... read more
funk (n): the result of a collaboration between Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars.
I'm going to keep this review short, because this is just a really good song.
The instrumental has funk all around it. It has beautiful drums, fantastic melodies, and is everything that you need in the perfect instrumental. It's different throughout, and is more than capable of standing on its own as song.
Bruno's and .Paak's voices are fantastic, and provide listeners with a sound that's smoother than butter. ... read more
I don't have anything funny up here to write. This album is just really good.
Kanye, "Ye" "Yeezus" "Saint Pablo" "The Louis Vuitton Don" West is a character. That's for sure. He's done absolutely fantastic things throughout his career, but is likely much better known for his antics. He's hated and loved Americans from the Republican party, said some extremely questionable things, and likely has more appearances on TMZ than in actual interviews. Just, ... read more

I’m just going to keep this as short as possible. DONDA is beautiful
Never, ever have I listened to an album so cohesive as this. Not even Tyler, the Creator’s recent albums, Quadeca’s ‘From Me to You,’ or Childish Gambino’s 3.15.20 are as fluid as this album. I felt that I was listening to a single, ever-evolving and changing track. And it just kept on getting better and better.
It’s jam packed with features, and is by far, the best ... read more
Please Call Me if You Get Lost.
Logic's out of retirement, and I'm pretty happy with that. In general, I like Logic, and when he's doing well, he tends to calm me down.
I know that a lot of people didn't really love the last few singles from Bobby Tarantino 3, but I'm not going to lie, I did like "Vaccine" and "Intro." But I think "Call Me" is peak logic.
He's not hardcore or anything, and is just kind of chill. I hope this is what the majority or BT3 will sound ... read more
I like edamame. It's soy delicious.
bbno$ is an artist I've been following for a while now. And when he announced a collaboration with none other than 88rising's own Rich Brian, I couldn't help but be excited. They both killed their Tokyo drift freestyles, and in general are capable of making good music. But, anyways, onto the song...
bbno$ has his usual energy, almost comedic rap like, and starts out with some pretty good energy. The hook is catchy and has some regular braggadocios bars. ... read more
Pretty basic pop tune. Would've given it a 50 if it wasn't what I remember every time I try to spell friends.
