This has to be one of the most intense and abrasive pure thrash records ever made, the cover looks exactly how the music sounds. The Marshall Arts has to be one of my favourite album openers of all time, just listen to that scream it's INSANE!!
My only major criticism is that the lyrics can get very eye roll-worthy at times *cough* Taste the Floor *cough* but that's to be expected with B list 80's thrash.

I don't really listen to or know anything about electronic music but just know that I had fun. King Gizzard are my favourite band so I'm going to be bias.

Favourite tracks: The Silver Chord, Set, Swan Song and Extinction

When King Gizz (who aren't a metal band) have released one of the best thrash metal albums of the 21st century that's when you know the genre is dead.

Favourite tracks: Motor Spirit, Converge, Gila Monster, Dragon and Flamethrower

The mixture of atmospheric black metal and alt country is a match made in heaven, I know Wayfarer aren't the first band to do this but definitely the most prominent. While I do enjoy this album a lot I feel there is room for improvement, it loses some steam towards the back half but picks up again with the last song.
