I’ve been learning No Surprises on guitar. It’s that good, and honestly if it only had Exit Music and No Surprises as the best songs on the album, I would still rate it at least an 80 for those two alone. However the entire album is amazing, and it flows super smoothly.
I don’t like this as much as I thought I did. And while this album is not bad by any means, and it will always have a place in my music exploration, it is not as great as I gave it credit for. I’ve listened to this album probably 20-30 times, and each time it just feels like something is missing. And I wanted so bad to love it, I convinced myself I did. Maybe one day this will click, but for now, I need to be honest with myself and how I feel about this album.
