Randomized Miles Davis Discography Listen: Album #22
This is the first of the extremely long Miles Davis albums I've heard, and I enjoyed it. "He Loved Him Madly" isnt an amazing opener in my opinion. I feel like i keep waiting for it to move forward significantly and it never does, which is incredibly frustrating for a song thats over 30 minutes long. The stretch from tracks 2-5 is absolutely incredible though, some of his best work ever on that. The way the drums come in on ... read more
Genuinely a bit disappointed. Why is the first half of this incredibly mediocre Pluggnb? Yuno has made much funnier stuff. Bobos Chicken is one of his best though.
Another great Springsteen album, i might end up listening to his whole discography. "The E Street Shuffle" low-key sounds like a Geese song.
Surprised by the low user score, some of the best pop songs of the 80s are on here.
Favorite Tracks: Invisible Touch, Land Of Confusion, In Too Deep, Anything She Does, Throwing It All Away
Finally got around to listening to Part 2. The first half drags a little, but the second half is some of the most haunting music I've ever heard.
Springsteen arrives almost fully formed on his debut album.
There is extremely little interesting about LAUNDRY DAY'S sound. It's the type of music that can only be considered interesting if you have a previously built parasocial relationship with the band. I dont think that music needs to be super original to be interesting, but so much of this album is so generic it feels mathematically designed to be appealing to as many spotify editorial playlists as possible. "SUPERMODEL" is pretty good though.
I think it shouldn't be considered bad to say an artists most popular song is one of their best. "Dancing In The Dark" is completely perfect in every way.
You can hear a lot more southern trap influence on this album then what Lil Peep would go on to make. The dude had a ton of potential rest in peace.
While extremely self-indulgent and pretentious, "Pure Comedy" is one of the most impactful statements on the human condition that I've ever heard.
Some of Taylor Swift's best lyricism is overshadowed by extremely bland production and vocal performances.
Favorite Tracks: Blank Space, Style, Wildest Dreams
Very little of the elements that would make Quadeca's music great are on Voice Memos.
A future classic of country music. The rock elements added here work so damn well it makes me wonder how he hadn't incorporated them in a major way before.
What this album lacks in melody it makes up for in sheer audacity. So many of these ideas are completely insane yet they work.
