What the hell happened. These deluxe songs are horrible. Overseas the only decent one.
No words, dude. This album's theme shows us drug usage, self-deprecation, and relationship issues through the mind of Will Toledo. Even though these are the B-sides for NYM, I actually prefer this more than NYM. The lo-fi sound of this album really sells it to me, and I can't describe how good it is. I still can't believe he removed this off his Bandcamp; if you like CSH, you WILL like this album.

My music taste a year ago used to be pretty wonky, only listening to rap and hating these types of artists for being "cringey" and "furries," and Car Seat Headrest was one of them. It took me a whole year to listen to them, and I originally gave this album an 8/10, but relistening a month later, this album completely blew me away. I never cry on songs, but Sober To Death really made me emotional and tear up a bit. I relistened with my friend on June 15, 2024, and it felt ... read more
Imagine Descendants and Misfits but a mixed version of them, this is what this EP reminds me of. This feels like fresh punk rock and all the 3 songs on this debut is unique and special, it feels like it has passion and love for the music they are making. The production feels engaging to listen to, the vocals feel raw and exciting and the guitars and drums are excellent. These guys are GOING PLACES.
Everybody was hyping this album up and I wanted to see the hype and I was surprised by Charli xcx's sound since this is my first time listening to her. I enjoyed all the tracks and I think none of the tracks are below an 8 but this isn't a perfect album but it is the best pop album this year 100%
A really good feature artist in hiphop but Don Toliver’s solo stuff is not very good. This album was the definition of filler, with less good songs then bad songs. Also, a very boring listen.
I see people on tiktok talking about how this is one of the best albums to ever exist, and I can see why. Each songs is so experimental and the instruments on the album are so unique and used so perfectly. With Jeff Magnum’s amazing and unique vocals it feels incredibly well with the haunting and harmonic production on this album. The lyrics on this album seem weird but if you look deep into it it’s deep and meaningful. One of the best indie folk albums ever made. 100% recommend.
I listened to this album about 5 months ago, right after OK Computer, and coming back to this to get a full experience and new thoughts made me realize that coming back to Radiohead is like hearing their music for the first time all over again. This album has some of the greatest production I have ever heard in an art rock album. Thom Yorke's vocals throughout the album are heavenly and make me feel like I am levitating. "Nude" is a perfect example of this and definitely grew on ... read more
Everything about this song is catchy and I can replay it over and over again without it getting old and one of my favorite glitchpop songs :)
Not a bad first album for a 17-year-old. I do think that some of the storytelling on this album was cheesy and lacked some lyricism, but there are some standouts on this album, like in "A Better Star," the female vocalist really sells the track with her singing, which I find really nice and soothing, and the ending track, "From Your Truly, Lucas Pereyra," did really well explaining the process of making the album and the hardships of trying to make the album. Unfortunately, ... read more
Fun album that has the rodeo vibe but not quite the consistent production it had throughout rodeo. But really overlooked Travis album
Iconic trap album for 2018 and I love it personally there is only one mediocre song which is wake up but this is a 100% recommendation
Very good album this is where Tyler's creativity started to rise. The features on the album are amazing and even songs like "Foreword" and "Boredom" helped blow up another indie artist that I really like, Rex Orange County. The production feels like it was made with care and love, which is the topic of the album. My third favorite Tyler album :)
