Before I write this review I want to highlight a book I read about Nirvana and more specifically the life of Kurt Cobain. It’s called “Serving the Servant” and it’s written by Nirvana’s manager Danny Goldberg. One of the most interesting aspects of the book was the production of In Utero. I somehow didn’t listen to this a couple years back, but it easily would’ve been in my top 5 albums of 2024. Cameron Winter and Geese have become some of my favorite artists over the past couple of months and this is my favorite project from both. Incredible album packed with insane emotional depths and some of the best songs of the decade. Can’t wait to see Geese in November.
