Holy shit! This album just kept getting better and better as it went on! The last track is absolutely manic! This is unlike any metal I have ever heard! I keep using exclamation points because this album is so amazing!

Not my favorite Bladee project by any means, but nonetheless a good addition to his discography. 333 builds on the sound Bladee has transitioned to on EXETER, my personal favorite project of his. Like EXETER, it differs from his previous work in that it feels more optimistic and hopeful. However, 333 is less experimental and feels more passive with less tracks that stand out.
Favorites: Wings in Motion, Oh Well, Swan Lake
Absolutely gorgeous ambient, some of the best I’ve ever heard. This put me at peace like few albums have...
Absolutely disgusting noise rock that reminds me a lot of Filth-era Swans. There's even a song about turning your corpse into Arby's to be made into sliders!
Favorites: All except Face
It's just a pretty fun, easy to listen to, and danceable album with a good amount of bops.

Before I started listening to this album at like 10:45 AM EST, I could agree that 100 gecs are overrated in the online music community. Sure, I come back to their debut quite a bit, and a lot of the memes are pretty funny, but it's not like everything they touched was amazing. Now, we get this shitpost of an album - an absolutely insane collection of 19 songs consisting of a lot of remixes, a couple live jams, and a couple new tunes. This is where the overrated argument becomes tricky for me. ... read more
Billy Woods' and Kenny Segal's Hiding Places was one of my favorite rap records of 2019. Woods' very introspective and great lyricism combined with Segal's weird, awesome beats made for an overall great album. 2019 also saw the release of another Billy Woods album, Terror Management. It was alright. It just felt a little underwhelming compared to anything on Hiding Places, and I never came back to it. I have kept up with Billy Woods since though.
Now we got this new Armand Hammer record ... read more
Holy shit! Nothing could have prepared me for how awesome this album is! Absolutely filthy riffs, intricate, lightning-fast drumming, a perfect death metal growl that actually allows me to understand that he’s saying - all of that is here! I can truly see how Death is considered one of the best metal bands.
Favorites: All of them of course!
I was gonna write this off as boring after hearing the first half. MIKE’s voice is slurred and lazy, mixed so it’s nearly impossible to hear among the cloudy (but not very good imo) beats. I’m glad I stuck through to the end though. The second half is much better than the first. MIKE’s comes through with some very good songs that incorporate much higher quality production, and I can actually understand him. Overall, it’s a decent project. Will I come back to it? ... read more
Decided to check this out after the very positive ratings on RYM, and honestly, I'm slightly disappointed. I was expecting an album full of live songs that outdid the studio versions. In some cases, such as AAA Powerline and Fragile, this holds true. In others, like must of the songs on the Bladee side, they just don't capture the same insane vibe that makes his music so special. Needless to say, this is still a very good live album with a good amount of highlights. I guess I was expecting ... read more
It's just so relaxing, perfect for just lounging around and doing absolutely nothing, or it could be the soundtrack to a walk around town.

Stare Into Death And Be Still is probably the first death metal album I have ever heard. I have been meaning to get more into the genre, but it always seemed so intimidating.
I came away from this very pleasantly surprised: this album's awesome! There are so many killer riffs (especially that one at the end of Drawn Into the Next Void), and this thing is loaded with insane drumming and stankface moments. I can say that this has officially made me a fan of death metal.

I wish I liked this more, but it’s still a great album nonetheless.
Favorites: Marquee Moon (of course), Elevation
An awesome, off-the-wall album that has some very catchy choruses despite how weird and experimental it can get!

I gotta stop finding such amazing music, I'm giving out too many 9's. Anyways, this is an incredible album. It's comforting and meditative, but there is always enough going on to keep it from being boring, and that's just before I get into Mark. I cannot understand much of what he's saying but his fragile and emotional voice compliments the sound of this project flawlessly. Searching up the lyrics reveals cryptic lyrics that everyone can have their own interpretation of. This album is ... read more
